First off, Ingrid already had a horrible attitude from the get go. Didn't make my son feel welcomed or she wasn't friendly at all. My son had his haircut with Iggy/Ingrid and she sprayed (a lot of times and ALL OVER my son) a product that was never used on our 6yo son. In the past, other hair stylists would simply spray water on his hair. Our son's eyes then started to get VERY irritated to a point he couldn't open his eyes. Ingrid talked forcefully to my son telling him "just keep opening your eyes and it will be fine." And proceeded to do the haircut while our son was suffering and visibly in pain. His eyes were extremely irritated from the spray. She sprayed so much of it to a point the area got misty. When we looked at the label it said "AVOID EYE CONTACT" and "KEEP AWAY FROM CHILDREN." On top of this, this product's SDS contains a carcinogen! Why is this even used, FOR KIDS especially?! There was no offer of washing his eyes (no eyewash station even if they carry products that carry potential hazards). I had to get a wet paper towel and dabbed it on his eyes to help him. When we said it must be the spray that irritated his eyes - She then got very defensive and said we were blaming her and did not want to finish the haircut. She said that she was not aware of the product label and she's never heard of whats on the label. That's not acceptable. It is upsetting that Ingrid did not show any compassion to our son and DID NOT apologize either. Totally unacceptable behavior for this...
Read moreNot sure what @MB is talking about... I have been going to this location since it opened ~5 years ago. Always a good cut, always friendly and professional. It doesn't matter who cuts my hair (Emily, Brooke, Sharon, etc), it's always done the way I requested. Emily has cut my hair the last couple of times and she knows exactly how to handle my changing hair (thinning and turning gray). And my son will ONLY go to Brooke. I have checked in on the app almost every time and it tells you how long the wait will be. Then you get a text when it's ABOUT 15 mins before your turn and it asks you to check in when you arrive. It's totally understandable if they take a walk-in before you arrive because otherwise they would sit around waiting. In fact, I checked in today and the app said about a 45 min wait. I arrived a few mins before it said my turn would be and it was exactly right. I waited a few mins and then Emily was ready for me. The store has always been clean and it has been even cleaner since the pandemic started. I could not recommend this...
Read moreGreat spot. They have TVs and a nice waiting area. I didn't need the waiting area because I was a walk-in and I came in at the perfect time when someone else was leaving. Emily cut my hair and she was great. The haircut looks good and feels good. I guess the name says it all, but they definitely lean pretty hard into the Sports theme. I would probably choose something different to put on the TV, but it is entertaining and better than nothing. They have little touchscreen kiosks that you can use to make your appointment and you also use to pay and can add a tip on. All in all it was just a really smooth and easy experience. I don't always get my haircut on my lunch break, but when I do I have a feeling I'll be...
