Discovered these sort of by accident while roaming around Harpers Ferry. The steps themselves are a remarkable piece of history. In addition, if you follow them up the hill; they lead to a beautiful, little church. Walk a bit further, and you arrive at Jefferson's Rock. This was my favorite discovery in...

This was an intriguing climb for me with awe-inspiring views from the hills over the shops and streets below to see the rivers in the far distance. The stairs are steep, but even the most inexperienced climber can walk up the stairs with relative ease - just pace yourself.
