A cute gift shop in Harpers Ferry Mary Adams Accessories is a charming two-room shop just off the street that climbs the hill from John Brownâs Fort. Itâs one of several small storefronts perched on the hill above the river and the train station, and it fits the setting perfectly. It is cozy, welcoming, and full of things you actually want to pick up and look at. Be careful walking in from the street as you have to step down a few stairs and the doorway top can catch a tall person not being careful. The front room has a good selection of accessories and gifts. The back room feels like a little discovery. There is a small book shop tucked among a wide variety of fun itemsâthink of things you might find in a novelty store like Spencers. Itâs really the kind of place where you come for one thing and notice three others that catch your eye. The staff were very nice which added to the relaxed feel. Overall, this is a great stop while exploring Harpers Ferryâespecially if youâre already walking the hill from the Fort. Pop in for a few minutes; chances are youâll find a book, a gift, or a small accessory that makes a perfect memento...
