We came in from the downstairs. There was no one there to greet or tell us anything and no customers were down there. We saw the signs on the tables that said more seating upstairs please proceed to the stairs behind the wall, so we did. We heard customers talking upstairs. Once we came up the steps one waitress walked by and looked at us but didnt say anything. There were no signs saying please wait to be seated or anything and none of the waitresses said anything so we picked a table and sat down. There were 3 other tables with customers. I watched as one waitress brought food out to one table then gave a check to another. The other waitress brought food out to the third table. Both waitress' walked out numerous times, walked by us, and said nothing. Not a hello, we will be right with you, do you need a drink, nothing. We waited patiently with the thought maybe they were busy. The younger waitress then checked on the first table that she brought food to and asked if they needed drinks, still nothing to us. I said we will wait and if they come out one more time and say nothing to us but look at us we are leaving, and so be it that's what happened and we left. This service was ridiculous, I guess the waitress' didnt want to make money because they had numerous chances to even acknowledge us and they didnt. A very sad situation and very disappointing after a long day of kayaking in the heat we are very hungry. Sad to see this poor service in harpers ferry.
