What an amazing little town with an amazing history. I wish we could have stayed longer, but we had a long trip back to PA. The little shops, museums, vistas and cafe's make this town a great place to visit. I've always wanted to go here. My family almost gave up because of the limited parking. I think we drove around for 30 or more min. before we found a spot. My advice is park up on the hill near the Storer College Campus and walk down Fillmore Street. The Harper Cemetery is amazing along with St. Peter's Catholic Church. We had lunch at The Rabbit Hole. They had a great beer selection, and they were very accommodating to our dog Stella. Give yourself the entire day to walk around. There's a lot to see.

The store has a lot of character and a fascinating history, which makes it quite interesting to visit. However, there’s a musty smell that might be off-putting to some. Also, be aware that they charge an extra fee for credit card payments, so it's definitely a good idea to bring cash if you want to avoid that extra charge. Despite these quirks, it’s worth checking out if you appreciate unique shops with a bit of old-world charm. Overall, this is a very cool town with rich history.

We booked a history tour through the HFPA and Andy was our tour guide and he did an excellent job. It was quite chilly that day but Andy still made the tour very informative and enjoyable. Would highly recommend to anyone going to Harper’s Ferry to book a tour through them. I emailed and paid ahead of time, super easy. Tour was private, just my husband and myself. Will return to Harper’s Ferry! Cool town.

Really neat place to visit. It was nice to walk around the buildings like they would have been around the turn of the century. Everything there said it was foot path only but we saw a fair amount of bicycles while walking around. I think the use of bikes for some of the park would be beneficial in the wooded areas. Great place to visit, my wife and I definitely want to go there again when we...
