Staff was very friendly and genuinely kind. I received a free appetizer and free parking - not asked for or originally included in my package (my thanks for the happy holidays gifts!). The room was spacious and clean and everything inside the room was easy to find, manage and operate, including the in-room safe. I stayed on the 21st floor in a single king club room. There were plenty of towels and the in-room coffee maker was convenient, easy-to-use and had a variety of options including de-caf and teas if you wanted. The food at the M&M Bistro was very good. Try their build-your-own burger - it's quite good and really is made exactly to order - including a few things you might ask for that may not be on their list. They also have a good variety of beers and spirits reasonably priced. The variety at the breakfast buffet was good as well and the service for both dinner and breakfast the next morning was flawless!

This hotel is about a block from the Hartford Stage (perfect for me as I had tickets for a show) and the the attached parking garage is spacious and convenient. I didn't try the pool or jacuzzi, but I did use the fitness room. It's not a large fitness room, but don't let the size fool you. They actually have a good amount of fitness tools and equipment. I was able to workout for about 90 minutes - combination of core, strength and cardio with no complaints. Complimentary towels, water and ear phones - plus wipes for the equipment.

Personal preference: I do prefer a firmer mattress and firmer pillows, but the bed was clean and warm.

Suggestions: not sure how, but it would be great if you could heat the bathroom floor - very, very cold to the touch. Also in-room bathrobes would be a nice touch - especially in a club-level room. Other than that, everything was excellent and I will look forward to a future visit!
