Now here's another really cool minor league baseball ballpark. This is a really new field with 2018 being only its second season of service. This is the home of the Hartford Yard Goats, the AA affiliate of the Colorado Rockies who play in the Eastern League. We came here to root for our beloved Binghamton Rumble Ponies who are affiliated with the New York Mets. We know some of their players as they came up through the Brooklyn Cyclones on their way to earning a shot at the majors. We stood on the first base side as that's where the visiting team's dugout is located. It was great to see some of the players who had been in Brooklyn a couple of seasons before. Those who remembered us came over to give us hugs and say hello. In the midst of this happy moment I was touched by how nice the locals were to us and to the visiting team as well. The ushers were also great, so kind and friendly, and made us feel so comfortable and welcome. You can walk your way around the whole ballpark. In right field near the local bullpen, they have a pen with goats. It is so fun to see how much energy they have. By the main entrance the have a burger stand that I really liked. One of their burgers comes with goat cheese. There is a smoke house by right field and you can side up to a wall counter to keep up with the game while you enjoy your meal. There is a giant DD coffee cup atop a long pole in center field. If a local player hits a home run, you'll see steam come out the top of the cup. They have a great lounge upstairs, you must have a ticket that gives you access to it. You can relax up there, order a drink and watch the game from one of the many TV monitors while staying cool. Or you can go out to one of the balconies to enjoy the game more up close. They have parking right across the street. We were there for a three game set and really enjoyed our time there, the local and the staff at this ballpark really made us feel welcome. I highly...

The upper deck club section seats are some of the best in the stadium. There are a few seats in the stadium where it is hard to see all of the field. There are nice views of the city of Hartford to be seen from inside the stadium. There are many great concession choices in the park. Bear’s BBQ and Dunkin Donuts are some of the best choices. There are a wide array of choices of food offered at the stadium concession stands. The stadium gift shop offers a wide selection of Yard Goats merchandise. The playing field is one of the most unique in any minor league park. The right field wall is tall and most home run balls go over the left field wall. Most foul balls do not stay in the stadium and land outside of it. Fan support here is very high, and many games are sold out. There are many parking lots available, just do a google maps search to find them before the game. Dunkin Park is a great stadium that is worth a trip if you have never seen it. The Yard Goats offer fun and...
Read moreAbsolutely outstanding experience! From the time you get to the park to the moment we left we had a great time. This park is essentially brand new and looks it! Very well maintained, it's like having a little Fenway Park just down the road. The concession stands are filled with the typical foods you would expect to find and they have a great beer selection. Prices are what you would expect at a stadium type event.
Parking all around the stadium is super convenient and only $5 pretty much everywhere. The entire place is updated and modern.
If you're bringing kids then you're in luck! My son won't sit through a single inning without getting distracted.fortunately Dunkin donuts has you covered with a children's area that includes a giant inflatable slide, pitching game and basketball game. It's $1 a ticket or $10 for a wristband for...
