"Holy Cow:ā Cape Cod's Latest Udderly Delightful Ice Cream Experience
Cape Cod has struck goldāor should I say, cream? The famed ice cream shop, Holy Cow, has opened its fourth location right here on our beloved sandy shores. Famous for their audacious, out-of-this-world flavors, Holy Cow has churned the ice cream scene upside down.
When it comes to their lineup of flavors, Holy Cow doesn't just raise the bar; it flings it into another stratosphere. Take 'Mintsanity,' for instanceāit's mint with a crazy twist, like a snowball fight in July. It's so refreshing, you'll think you brushed your teeth and ate dessert at the same time!
'Corner Pieces' is another brain-freezer. It's like they took the best bit of a brownie, added some cold magic, and voilaāan ice cream that's worth loosening your belt for. Trust me, you'll be fighting over these 'corner pieces' more than the last slice of grandma's holiday pie.
Meanwhile, 'Salted Peanut Butter Oreo' proves that the Holy Cow didn't just jump over the moon; it also stopped by the cookie factory. This flavor's a symphony of sweet, salty, and crunch that has more layers than a New Englander in January.
And then there's 'Ritzy AF,' the Versace of ice creams. It's the Mariah Carey of frozen treatsādecadent, over the top, and unapologetically fabulous. If ice creams had a red carpet, 'Ritzy AF' would be strutting down it.
Nestled amidst Cape Cod's picturesque views, the Holy Cow outlet is a charming hybrid of classic architecture and modern chic. It's like a lighthouse guiding you toward an ocean of creamy delights, except getting lost here wouldn't be such a bad thing.
All in all, Holy Cow isn't just an ice cream shop; it's a tongue-tickling, palate-pleasing flavor carnival that's arrived at Cape Cod. I scream, you scream, we all scream for Holy Cow! So, head on over and get ready for a wild, delicious ride that your taste buds...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreLet me start by saying I've eaten a lot of ice cream in my time. The Cape is possibly THE mecca of ice cream in the Northeast, maybe even the whole country. Holy Cow's ice cream is easily the best of the Cape. I have tried all of them - Four Seas, Creamery, Smuggler, Sundae School, you name it. This place's ice cream is just better. Sure, the shop is a little rickety, but you'll forget that detail when you smell that freshly baked waffle cone, the one they made right in front of you, and that first bite of creamy deliciousness.
Firstly, the flavors change, with new flavors arriving and others leaving (so don't hesitate to try the interesting ones). Secondly, they win awards. Who even knew there were awards for ice cream? Well, there are, these guys win them, and it's easy to see why. Ritzy AF is impossibly good. They're not afraid to try things out. Orange Cardamom is a pretty adventurous take on an ice cream flavor but it's delicious and different. Their Strawberry is made from actual strawberry syrup, made from actual strawberries. There is a qualitative difference in the strawberry-ness of the Holy Cow product.
Did I mention they're open all year round? It's hard when your ice creamery closes at the end of the summer, and we're a year-round community now. Being able to get a pint of the good stuff in December is a big deal.
People are loyal to the places they went to when they were kids and they came here on holiday, and that's ok. That's about loyalty, not about ice cream. After you've tried this place I bet that you'll realize that you can be loyal and you can also enjoy the absolutely best ice cream. Two things can simultaneously be true.
You can love your family and enjoy the company of your friends! I love Holy Cow and I'm thinking...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreIm currently visit Cape Cod from New Jersey. We went to Holy Cow last year when we visited Cape Code for the first time. The wife and kids absolutely wanted to go back. My eldest daughter said this is the best vanilla ice cream she had. I myself didnāt have any last year. We looked up what flavors they had last week and I saw they had pistachio baklava⦠let me repeat that⦠PISTACHIO BAKLAVA! Admittedly, Iām insane for for pistachio ice cream, but a combo like this?! Itās a dream. This place is so good they sell out of flavors, so I emailed asking if I could order this flavor in pints ahead of time, and the owner himself, Mike Schifino, reached back out to me and made sure I had a couple pints side aside for me. BEST ICE CREAM IVE EVER HAD, HANDS DOWN. You MUST get the freshly made waffle cone. The staff were also extremely pleasant. This is our go to spot for ice cream in Cape Cod. I refuse to go...
