Noble House — Restaurant in Harwich

My family and I have been regulars at the Noble House for years and have always thought the food, service, and value were exceptional. Tonight's experience compelled me to write a review as the service far exceeded my expectations. I placed an order for takeout sushi, all of which was prepared beautifully and was, as always, very fresh. When I got home I realized I had forgotten to order two rolls for my daughter who also happened to be the birthday girl (mom fail). I called and explained my error and they very quickly put it together and even added a little extra. Everything was done so graciously and in no time, my daughter was enjoying her favorite avocado rolls of all time (her words). I love hibachi, and this place always satisfies my craving for Japanese food. I have been going here for almost a decade now and am extremely habitual with what I order. I always get the hibachi filet mignon with double fried rice and my boyfriend eats my vegetables. I would give this place 3.5 stars. There have been quite a few occasions where I ordered take out and it was clear that they served me lower quality steak which is disappointing. The fried rice is sometimes more like white rice too. I stopped getting their chicken a few years ago as it seemed to be hit or miss; sometimes delicious, other times like rubber. The Noble House was a short time 6 minute walk from our inn on Belmont Street. With a party of four we were seated within a couple minutes with another party at the Hibachi grill.

Our chef, Joe, presented and prepared our meals (scallops, filet, salmon, and veggie) perfectly. And he was entertaining! The food was hot and flavorful, without being overly seasoned. Simple food, simply delicious.

Overall the experience was pleasant--service was prompt, prices were appropriate for the Cape. Our only gripe was the smell on our clothes and hair after we left. It's minor, and par for the course when the food is prepared in front of you. We would visit again when the...
