Family owned & operated franchise, who run a clean store. A little difficult to locate if you dont know where its at already. Only becuz its in the very back all the way behind the restaurant & laundry mat. The building almost looks like a hotel or apartments. However, there is a large sign that says True Value Ace Hardware above the entrance. They are also a mini market, or what I would consider a convenience grocery. They keep a small range of refrigerated foods like cheeses, milk & cream, processed sandwich meats, eggs, juices & soft drinks. For shelf stable & dry goods you'll find bread, pastries, cereal, other breakfast stuff, can goods, candy, gums, chips, & a variety of pre-packaged dried meats. Along with the basic materials from a hardware store, they carry some survival & wet weather gear too. You'll be able to pick up many different sizes of batteries, i never even knew there were so many different batteries. Theres firewood, rain jackets, bags of ice & other kinds of gift shop merch. I think they also keep pet foods in stock at this store. Finally, as you go to checkout to pay the super friendly staff, you come across a series of glass display cases. Inside those cases you will notice many different kinds of loose pipe tobacco, rolling papers, tobacco pipes, water pipes, lighters & butane refill cans. They have a variety of tobacco & different tobacco products equivalent to a mini smoke shop. Like I stated before- a truly amazing family owned & operated franchise with a very friendly & welcoming crew. They strive to treat each customer with the kind of value & aloha as they treat their own families. Truly incredible store experience, due to the efforts from the Ohana of dilligent & dedicated emoloyees...
Read moreI shop at the general store, the staff is great. Some prices are really decent others are high, I can't afford the soil here vs Home Depot, but a lot of the food items are very reasonable to restock or make a spontaneous meal without driving far. I like taking my kids here because they have a great variety of things, so it's fun for me to look around with them at the different ways they could spend money like markers vs candy vs chips vs little souvenirs. A lot of times I can pick up medicine or school supplies I need to refill without a long...
