OfficeMax — Attraction in Hawaii

I went there the other day to check out some office chairs. They have a great selection, many more models than what's listed on their online shopping platform. They have both mesh-backed and cushion-backed chairs. They had some good deals, too.

The reason I'm giving 3 stars is because of my shopping experience. I was there trying out different chairs. A sales associate asked me if I needed any help, and I said no. She still came over and started telling me about this paid membership they have that gets you discounts. Even when I asked her questions about other stuff, she kept steering the conversation back to the paid membership. It felt like she was more interested in selling me this membership than answering my questions. To top it all off, they were playing loud, fast-paced music in the store, a well-known tactic for getting people to impulse buy.

Our Instore experience with the printing center always produces quality products and the employees are very knowledgeable and helpful with any product we require! Caysha always delivers quality products and she remembers us and treats us like we are family! Which we feel is very important for business and the management Meagan she is also kind and very caring of all customers needs! However don’t ever do the reviews for the company itself because it says you can earn $2 for up to three times a month! I have been frustrated trying to receive my rewards since November 2023 I haven’t received my $6 in reviews for each month since then! The company seems to always say we have to escalate and I have to wait 3-5 days and I will be contacted and each time nothing! I just left the Hilo store still parked out front. Special thanks to Shana and Alan and Kristin and Chelsea I am disabled and usually come in late at night and hang out with my Hawaii State registered service dog Ginger 🐕‍🦺. I come here often, live in Volcano 20 years. Never a problem here ever. In Kona last week only one copier working and confusing aisles with rude customers. Sorry Kona, Hilo way cooler. Literally. It just started sprinkling cool rain. Mauna Kea is beautiful from the parking lot. Now it is black with storm clouds so into Walmart I go and then back to the summit of Kilauea to my chilly hunting camp with my Blue Heeler 🐗 Catahula boar hunter and my Dingo service dog Ginger ....
