Del Aire Inn Hotel — Attraction in Hawthorne

Booked 2 nights last night. They want $150 cash security deposit. Why??? I have no idea. I ask the 2 girls at the check in window to let me see the room before finalizing anything. They say ok. The father , who looks like he just woke up, it’s 10:30pm and I feel bad, but he takes me to the very last room i. The right. As soon as he opens the door and turns in the light u see something run past his feet in the floor. As he walks further into the room I look and see it’s a cockroach I say, no no, he turns around and says what’s wrong. Then another cockroach is on the wall right next to him. I tell him, cockroaches, there are two cockroaches right now. He looks and see the party the cockroaches are having and stomata on the one on the floor that didn’t pay its rent and the one on the wall I guess got away bcuz at this puny my dog and u are speed walking out of there to the two innocent girls. I get there and says what’s wrong, the room is infested with roaches, she says, oh, no. I tell her “stop it!! You know as well as I do that you know about the cockroaches, you need to have pest control and take care of it or you will never succeed!!! She says, we are doing construction and we just painted that’s why they are all coming out” i say, oh ok, bcuz you seemed surprised about the party in there. She says it’s just bcuz of the paint. I tell her no!! You are infested!!! You need pest control! She says, we have pest control once a month. I tell her good!! Give me my money back I need to find a place for tonight. She says , call Expedia they have to refund you. We can’t do it. I...

Our room was spacious, comfortable, clean and nicely furnished. Faux hardwood flooring with matching bedspread and curtains are a nice touch. Pictures are true to the look of the room. All the amenities mentioned were included and everything worked in the room! Very comfortable bed with clean bedding. Large flat screen TV and A/C worked great. Separate walk-in closet was spacious for luggage and hanging clothes. The area also included a tall refrigerator, microwave and coffee maker. |The bathroom was clean and a good size with modern fixtures in perfect working order. The shower head was especially nice with never ending hot water! |The motel is very generous with it's complimentary amenities; Two bottled waters, soap, shampoo, TP, towels, tea and coffee.|Convenient, safe parking outside our door. The motel is quiet and secure. The receptionist and all the employees were very pleasant. Our booking quote was honored to the last penny. No surprises except good ones! The location is great. Just off the I-405 a few minutes from the airport and 30 minutes to Beverly Hills and Hollywood. |Overall, everything we can say about the Del Aire Motel is positive. The Motel is not a luxurious hotel, but more importantly it is a clean, well-run motel. Everything worked! The Del Aire is one of the best options we've experienced at this price range.
