I've never had a great experience at this Plato's Closet, but yesterday was the icing on the cake of terrible experiences there. Now, I totally understand that they are very selective about what they buy, I get that. But what I can not tolerate is the complete lack of professionalism there! From the moment I brought stuff in the man working there treated me & everyone else who dropped stuff off like a pest. He was quite rude, & literally from the moment I got there until my stuff was done about 2 hours later, he would not stop complaining & making fun of the items people had brought in & the people themselves. He kept going on & on in a voice loud enough that you could hear him plain as day on the whole other side of the store with the music blasting. People can in fact hear you even when they are not necessarily right in front of you. Not only that, but he even talked about the fact that he was thinking about stealing some of the items people brought in. Saying that they probably wouldn't even notice. He went on & on & on. Until he noticed that I was still there almost 2 hours later right before they finally finished going through my stuff, then he started totally sucking up. Talking about how awesome some of the stuff was that he was just making fun of like 10 minutes earlier. Yeah, right. If he would have spent as much time actually doing his job going through the clothes as he did being the biggest critic about every little thing, he probably would have been able to go through everyone's stuff in 5-10 minutes or less, regardless of how much they brought. Plus, he said probably at least 50 times that they only accept the 47 brands in their "book", but they don't even have a complete list on their website, & I definitely saw a bunch of brands that they said they don't take on the racks in there while I was there. Overall, it was a SUPER UNPLEASANT EXPERIENCE! I really wish they had it so you could leave reviews on their website or so that you could e-mail them, but you can't. So, that's why I'm leaving on here. Yesterdays, experience just sealed the deal for me. I definitely do not plan on ever setting foot in there again. It's just not worth the complete lack of good...

Read moreEDIT- Since I cant reply to your response, I will post it here. When I called your store the day before the girl that answered told me the styles you were looking for were styles from 2020 and on and possibly some 2019s depending on the wear. Most everything I brought met that criteria from 2020 on or I would have never wasted my time coming there with as much as I did. Nothing that I brought had any holes, stains or wear and was teen sizes. After speaking with other people looks like I'm not alone.
After calling and speaking with someone I took two industrial sized garbage bags full of clothes. I went through everything and made sure they didn't have stains or holes and folded them nicely. After 30 minutes I went back to the store for them to tell me they didn't want any of my items because it didn't meet their demographics. I had teen boy clothes. Adult smalls and mediums mostly. Hollister, American Eagle, Abercrombie jeans almost brand new. Addidas, Puma etc. They told me they don't take kids clothes or anything with holes or stains which I know I didn't have. What a waste of time and a joke. They also took everything and just threw it back in the bag disrespectfully. I will never recommend anyone to take their clothes...
