if I could put zero stars I would I had gone to Des multiple times, each time she ran up to 30 minutes behind except one the one time, when I booked her earliest appointment. I had messaged her to book an appointment she had available a month away. She said she would put me down and asked what I wanted to do, I told her I was unsure. Few days go by and we exchange a few messages but with the holidays and starting a new job I had been preoccupied so messaging about my hair wasnât my top priority plus I believed I had an appointment. Today I was going to message her that I decided what to do, when I go to message her I notice there is a message from her I didnât see. When reading the message I discover that she gave away the appointment time I wanted. I was upset and we started messaging back and forth, I explained to her if she needed to know exactly what I wanted to do in order to complete the booking she should have let me known. End of the story is when I sent my last message stating that I will be going to someone else she then told me â you havenât been a joy to have in my chair either way.â And then blocked me on Instagram. Which Iâm unsure how I was unpleasant when I was too shy to speak half the time or understandably upset about her running behind on my first appointment and a second appointment following that. Regardless of miscommunication on both of our parts, a âprofessionalâ should never say that to a client no matter of whoâs right or wrong or the situation. I obviously will not be returning to Des also know as Desiree @hairstylist.Des on Instagram but to the Mosaic...
Read moreI had booked a service a couple weeks in advance..,yes it was a free service, but it was legit and booked ahead of time w/full disclosure of the deal. I leave work a bit early, show up and my name is no where to be seen. There was a stylist that said if I could wait she could take care of me, (I was willing to wait) The woman at the front then proceeded to explain what I was there for and she backed out faster then then anything! I felt very uncomfortable and even said I was frustrated that 1st I wasn't on the books and 2nd that this stylist backed out! Was told that it would have been nice if I had called to confirm! Not my fault your scheduler can't do her job! I'm not new to this type of service... I know how to take care of a stylist...not to mention I was in the market for a new stylist and she just snubbed me! ARE YOU KIDDING ME! Are they so over booked that they will let a potential repeat client walk out the door cause they are there for a free 30min service?! My career is customer service (concierge as a matter of fact, so they lost referral business also)...and this wasn't it! I was appalled the way this was handled and there was not even a suggestion of rescheduling! I wouldn't even consider going back to this place if my hair...
Read moreDesiree Bargiel is hands down the best hairstylist Iâve ever known. I met her when I was just 15 and she BRAVELY approached me and my mommy at a coffee shop and asked me to be her hair model, and that moment truly changed my life. She is the kindest person and sweetest soul. For over 20 years now, sheâs not just been my stylist, but a friend, a creative force, and a beautiful role model.
Desiree has a gift. She could cut my hair with her eyes closed and it would still turn out better than most stylistsâ best work. But what sets her apart isnât just her talent itâs her passion. She genuinely loves what she does, and it shows in every haircut, color, and transformation. Sheâs always learning, evolving, and bringing fresh creativity to her craft.
Iâve tried other stylists over the years, and no one even comes close. Desiree is not only incredibly skilled and knowledgeable sheâs kind, consistent, and inspiring. I always leave her chair feeling more confident, beautiful, and uplifted.
If youâre looking for someone who truly cares about her clients and will make you look and feel your best every single time, trust in Desiree. Sheâs a true artist. And her...
