After having a long week at work, I decided to stop at BJs for some food and beer. I walked out as quickly as I walked in, I was quoted a long wait time and had a rude hostess, so I walked next door to Twin Peaks for the first time. I was politely greeted by the hostess and was sat quickly. I immediately felt the difference in atmosphere at Twins Peaks vs BJs.
Once I was seated, I was approached by the wonderful Julia! Right away, she showed me a genuine energy that I appreciated after having a long week. I asked her what she recommended when it came to the house beers. She walked me through the house beer list and helped me decide on trying the house IPA. It was strong, crisp, and cold just how I like it. I ended up getting another it was too good.
Fair warning about the menu, you will not know what to get. Just about everything sounds fantastic. Once again, the amazing Julia helped me decide what to order. She pointed me towards the queso and some wings. I ended up getting both the queso and some hot honey boneless wings to start out with. I quickly received my queso and wings, and I was shocked at how delicious they both were. But the star of the appetizers was definitely the hot honey wings. Julia brought me another IPA to help me wash down my food.
Somehow I still had room for food. Once again, Julia helped me navigate the menu and I decided on the smokestack burger. I swear my eyes bulged out of my head when I saw the smokestack burger coming to my table, it was huge. I wanted another beer but something lighter than the IPA, so Julia helped me again with the house beers, and I settled with the dirty blonde. The beer was flavorful and paired great with my burger which was cooked perfectly. The burger had so much flavor in each bite.
Julia frequently came by and checked up on me. She always made sure I was good and took extra time to constantly help me out. Julia is really what gave me the perfect experience. She was the star of the night! She was so knowledgeable of the menu, after all, I felt like I always needed help since Twin Peaks has a large variety of pretty much everything. She was attentive, helpful, very friendly, and had an amazing personality. She’s the definition of giving above and beyond service. If you want great service, ice cold beer, and a great burger then come to Twin Peaks. I will definitely be coming back and requesting Julia as my server from...
Read moreStopped in at the Twin Peaks location on Eastern in Henderson and got the full “lodge meets sports bar” experience. The vibe? Rustic, rowdy, and absolutely built for game day—with TVs everywhere, ice-cold drafts, and plaid-shirted servers keeping the energy up.
Drink: I grabbed an iced tea (yep, staying civil today) which came out in a frosted mug that made it feel more exciting than it had any right to. Bonus points for presentation.
Food: I ordered the Beer Battered Fish & Chips. The portion was decent: four pieces of golden, crunchy fish on a bed of nicely seasoned fries. The fish itself was flaky but the batter leaned just a tad too thick and dense. The fries were the surprise star—crispy with a peppery dusting that made them addicting. Tartar sauce was solid, but nothing mind-blowing.
Menu & Deals: Their menu is huge—burgers, tacos, wings, flatbreads, and even ribeye steaks. If you’re coming during happy hour (Mon–Fri 2–6 PM and 10 PM–close), expect solid deals on drafts and snacks. Plus, they do a Lunch Combo for $7.99 which is hard to beat. Service industry folks get 50% off after 10 PM, and there’s even a military discount—definitely respect that.
Atmosphere: Think hunting lodge with beer taps—woodsy, loud, and filled with sports fans. Great place to unwind or catch a fight. Just don’t come looking for a quiet bite.
Final Verdict: Come for the atmosphere and beer deals, stay if you’re into hearty bar food and sports overload. Would I return? For the right game and a plate of...
