Let's first start with the bombardment of the fake "Hello's" and "How do I help you's" when you first walk in...
We already know why we are at the establishment. Maybe your greeting employees should say " Welcome to THE SOURCE...if you have any questions, ask any of us to help you with your purchases today..." or " Are you are familiar with our products? One of our bud tenders will answer any questions you may have..."
Upon entering the establishment, two people greeted me with processed, fake, low-impacting, non-human robotic experience...perhaps you should have the entrance employees guide us through your business as friends...(I felt like I was in a car dealership under high pressure.)
Greet your patrons with a simple "Hello" and "Welcome"... or try to introduce the current price saving special while we wait in line to be logged in...just make it feel real rather than rehearsed, gimmicky "lines" that management forces the employees to regurgitate...most of them sounded like A.I. programmed to sell, sell, sell!
"Adam" was the third employee that I met after entering the double-door glass lobby entrance...I finally felt like a real person greeted me properly...(simply using his natural kindness and sincerity)...he listened to my concerns/questions...plus his answers were perfect. He made me feel comfortable while he confidently acknowledged my questions or concerns...it was the only reason I purchased four items instead of one!
I loved the products I purchased however, their entire process of ease and enjoyment while shopping is missing a few elements...definitely making my first shopping experience at The Source was too overwhelming + energy draining...I felt like I was a sheep getting ready for branding or worse...this was my third dispensary I have visited...would I go back while I'm on vacation here for 2 weeks? Probably not.
(The other dispensary I went to the day before located near Wigwam and Eastern) - "The Dispensary" - was a much better experience! I recieved more product for less money. The bud tender there was very educated and was honest about the products...if she hadn't tried something, she told me she hadn't instead of lying to me...just to get a higher commission!)
This review is honest, I think that The Source is a good place to go for the area BUT, I didn't like the "fakeness" or "vibe" that was encompassing me upon arrival...
I am a Las Vegas native and I moved in 2016 to Kansas. This is my vacation. I am going to every dispensary in the entire city as well as Henderson and Boulder City.

My intention is helping other 420 friendly people find or "narrow down the list" of the best dispensaries to visit and shop at while staying here on vacation or living as a local in Las Vegas...🌝
If you are local or from out of town and want to go to a dispensary, please consider where you shop and where the locations are at...the fancy side of town near Eastern and Pebble had much higher pricing, less product.

Read moreAt the front desk check in, I provided my DMV interim document on my phone along with my physical expired ID. The manager was called out to verify if it was valid. He claimed they could not accept a screenshot and had to view the pdf document from the dmv website. When I pulled it up, the manager attempted to find it and was unsuccessful after about 5 minutes. When he could not, he seemed so dismissive and told me he wasn’t even allowed to have me in the building and walked off without even allowing me to find it, which I did within 30 seconds!! He was so hot to walk off!! I was already very upset that his managerial skills were lacking because he had no patience or preferred to do something more important in the back and completely deserves to be elsewhere when his position entails happily assisting and honestly being educated in his job. “I don’t work at the dmv” is never an option to spew. Oh? When you took my phone and looked thru the site after I logged in?! I will be spending my money elsewhere, from now on. You are NOT the only place available! Not worth it, with a dumb policy where I show you the EXACT document as a screenshot from the dmv website..? Now that I know how to find it, I’ll bring my money elsewhere. Read moreI have been using the Henderson location for over a year.... There is a reason why this dispensary chain is having to close other locations in other states. They are over priced for a start, the employees are well meaning stoners (for the most part) but not trained "bud tenders" in any sense. Knowledge of what strains and terpenes are best for the situation does not seem to be their forte. They offer a 15% discount for teachers, people in the industry etc.... 1 time I believe have we succeeded in having it applied. They will lie (maybe inept or can't count) and tell you it is applied until you check the receipt. During their birthday week just past, I was sent an email for a rosin infused pre-roll for $5 when I went to the store this was so confusing for them, they just said, "look we will make a note on your account. Try again next time" .... I couldn't have been given something similar? They have sent my wife out with a full ounce of hybrid instead of sativa before.... I have been loyal for well over a year and they have shown zero loyalty back. These are only the tip of the iceberg with the issues with this place, but I am beyond frustrated and have spent far too much money on medicine with them. There are plenty of other dispensaries close to the house, I just got 14g of 30% for $70. When the source DOES have 7g bags. They are like 17% and they think they can charge $75 for 1/4's...
