G's Meats 'N More — Attraction in Hendersonville

If you like grilling out, fixing tasty meals that contain good old fashioned meat, look no further than G's meats and more located at 109 Walton Ferry Road in Hendersonville Today was my first time there but I can assure you that it won't be my last. The variety is astounding, the quality, top rate. And by buying packages of select meats you'll save money over grocery store prices. Plus add I've said earlier the selection of products allows you to get what you want, not just what's packaged lord knows where and put on the shelf. Obviously there isn't a super huge selection of good butchers around here. I understand that people think something is awesome because they just don't know better. If you haven't been to a few butchers in your life than you don't know what they are supposed to be. This is just a meat counter. Not a real butcher. The meat is very average. Didn't seem to have anything prime and half of what was there for fresh beef was brown on the bottom. The sirloin was not cut properly so it was a bit tough and chewy. Good sausages and Angus dogs. Crabcakes we're ok but they aren't made fresh daily. Definitely make them and freeze them. Costco has fresh prime strip steaks for 11.99 lb. I'd just stick with that. like I said, if you've never been to a real butcher or three... It will be a 5 star...

Not only does G's Meats sell old time butcher's QUALITY beef, seafood, and poultry, but the owner and his staff are TOP TIER.

I walked in there for the first time a couple days ago, and each one of them went out of their way to help me. The meats, poultry, seafood, and more (!!!) are better than anything you'll ever find in a grocery store, yet their prices are competive (or, for some things, much better) than grocery store prices.
