I placed a rather large order for rack cards to be used for a trade show. I originally tried to place the order online because the website said the particular cards I was ordering were in stock at my local store. Then on the checkout page, it was giving me a date two weeks out despite the cards being marked in stock at the local store. We called the store and they said the larger orders online are automatically marked to be printed at corporate because of the size, but if we came in store they would be able to bypass that and print it in store. Then when we went to the store, we were told they couldn’t honor the online price and it would be significantly more expensive (8+ times more) than what we had tried to order. When we questioned them, we were told that it was because they have more expensive/better paper in store that would be too expensive to price at the online price, and they would have the print manager call us the following day to see what they could do since they are the one that told us they could print it in store. They quoted us a more reasonable price (still 2x the online price for half as much printing) over the phone and said it would be printed on the same card stock they had in the store. After picking them up, what we actually received was just slightly thicker than regular paper and printed in very poor quality (they looked like they were printed on a 20 year old ink jet printer that was nearly out of all colors except red). I had printed a few signs on my personal ink jet printer at home using the same image that was on the rack card, and it’s much higher quality (and the card stock I purchased for that was thicker than the supposed commercial paper Office Depot printed on). The rack cards they printed are so amateur and unprofessional looking that I was too embarrassed to hand them out. It’s pretty ridiculous that I paid so much for something I could have printed in better quality with my home printer. Additionally, since the paper was of such thin/poor quality, some of the cards were damaged when they rubber banded them together. I will definitely never recommend Office Depot for a professional print job, and I will never use them...
Read moreI had an outstanding experience at Office Depot, thanks to the exceptional service provided by employees Kelsey and Jeff. I visited the store to find a suitable microSD card for my Nintendo Switch, and both Kelsey and Jeff went above and beyond to ensure I got exactly what I needed. They took the time to explain the compatibility requirements for the Switch, recommending a high-speed UHS-I card that would optimize game performance. Their knowledge and patience made the process seamless, and they even double-checked the card’s specs to confirm it would work perfectly for storing and playing games. The level of care and attention they showed was truly impressive, turning a simple purchase into a standout experience. Office Depot is lucky to have such dedicated and customer-focused staff, and I’ll definitely be returning for...
Read moreInferior print products. Does not come close to the quality or common sense of staples. Pdf didn’t fully load in before printing, ink looked like it ran out every other page, bindings were too small so booklet didn’t open, pricing mishandled, color was not added in, etc. poor customer service experience, no accountability. 100% blame on Office Depot software and they can’t do anything about it. Hard enough to get a refund because “it was already printed” wrong...
I get 2-3 emails a day from them to my work email. I’ve unsubscribed and tried to mark as spam and it still gets through. I had to call the 1-800-GoDepot number to fix it. They couldn’t fix it either... so I need to call a different number...
Do not use them....
