Herzog Mansion — Attraction in Hermann

For a bed and BREAKFAST I would've expected MUCH more for the meal. Everything there was mostly great value brands. Everything was do it yourself style. Packet hot chocolate, packet oatmeal, granola bar, white bread with off brand jelly, in plastic store bought Danish and tiny muffins...the building was pretty run down, paint chipped inside and outside, very hard water stained faucets, dusty grimey corners, old style decorated furniture appeared run down and dirty. They are nice enough, but I don't think the wife is as genuinely interested as the husband. They just acquired the place in January. What a beautiful place to stay. Had a family get together an we (my 2 children an I) stayed here and WOW absolutely stunning. Beds were super comfortable, very clean, FRIENDLY manager Teresa 😉.
