Hermann Motel — Hotel in Hermann

We had the most wonderful stay at the Hermann Motel and honestly can’t understand why this place isn’t booked solid every night! The rooms were spotless, cozy, and recently updated – it’s clear the new owners have poured their hearts into bringing this charming motel back to life. The beds were incredibly comfortable, the water pressure in the shower was excellent, and the AC worked perfectly (a must during Missouri summers!).

The new owners were exceptionally friendly and helpful – it felt more like staying with family than at a motel. They gave us local recommendations, helped us check in late without hassle, and even offered fresh coffee in the morning. You can tell they really care about every guest’s experience.

Now here’s the frustrating part – Google still shows old reviews from before the new ownership took over. Those comments are completely outdated and no longer reflect what this motel has become. It's truly unfair to the hardworking new management who are doing everything right. If Google had a way to separate pre-renovation reviews, this place would easily be in the 4.8+ star range.

This little motel is 100% redone and impeccably cleaned daily. The low ratings and poor reviews are from when it was previously owned and the reviews unfortunately, can’t be removed though the Motel is under new ownership and renovated. What you will find- New plumbing, doors, drywall, bathrooms, carpet, lighting, paint, fridge, safe for valuables, electronic keyless entry so no key needed, beds, TV’s etc. What a darling thing they’ve done with an old building, restoring a piece of Midwest Americana. Do not hesitate to stay. It was super quiet, plenty of parking, a little common room with vending, a microwave and free ice for clients. The body products were great. Nice bedding and towels, makeup remover, lit mirror, super comfy bed, pretty thick pillows (I like smaller but the bed was soft enough no pillow was needed) and an accesible, very nice young couple who partially own and run the motel and live nearby for any issues. The town is so small you could bike or walk easily to the main areas of attraction. The style is modern and tasteful. We had a tiny room (113)but it was great for us, very European, well designed and compact. They have larger rooms that we got a peek into and are very nice too. I would not hesitate to...

We traveled to Hermann for my Mom's 65th birthday and had booked a house on VRBO and upon arrival found it unacceptable and immediately we started looking for a place to stay. It was a Friday night last minute after a 5 hour drive to get to Hermann we called the Hermann Motel and they were wonderful, very helpful. For our group we needed 3 rooms for 2 nights at the last minute and they were able to accommodate us. Our misfortune turned into a wonderful experience with outstanding accommodations at the Hermann Motel. They have done an excellent job of renovating this motel and it is immaculate and a wonderful place to stay. The lady we talked to about getting the rooms was exceptional very friendly and very helpful.
