Hermosa Pie & Cake Company — Attraction in Hermosa Beach

My bf and I had the pleasure of meeting both David and Will when we visited last Sat. We missed the pie (already sold out!) but came back earlier the next day as recommended. And oh boy, it did not disappoint. We got some strudel (my fav!) apple, and peach pie to go. The mini pies are great as a single person serving when you don’t want an entire pie.

We absolutely loved the friendly interactions and extremely flavorful and tasty pie. 100% worth the wait. I don’t agree at all with the negative reviews. These pies are the REAL DEAL! I'm so glad I found this bakery today. My brother's favorite pie is boysenberry and it's not very easy tu find. I scored and found one of the freshest boysenberry pies with an awesome real crust to bring him for his birthday dinner tonight. What a gem this place is I met Will who told me he and his dad run the whole place, and they come from England. He also told me the awesome Berries come from Oregon. Small store with the freshest pies. I'm not a fan of berry pies, but my husband bought a blackberry pie from Hermosa pie. It was the best berry pie I've ever had. There were so many berries in the pie, and they were plump and flavorful! Most store bought pies scrimp on the berries and fill them with sugar so you can't taste the fruit, not these pies!! I'm buying my pies from Hermosa Pies....
