I was pretty excited to shop at home goods/tj max for the first time. Went to checkout the line was long and I could tell the coworkers were doing their best, my issue was getting to the check out line for "Devon or Devan" he seems irritated. Either was having a bad day or annoyed that they had many customers to take care of. His customer service ruined my first time shopping with home goods/tj max. I had applied for the credit card while shopping in the store and when I got to the checkout I told him about my 10% coupon not once but twice that my phone told me to show him the code with valid ID. Totally ignored my request told me to enter my CC # on the keypad. So not only did I get bad customer service but didn't get to use my 10% coupon and I don't get to come this way often so it'll expire before I can use it. Then he had asked me if I wanted my dishes wrapped and I said yes please and he seemed even more annoyed that I wanted them wrapped. Then grabbing them from the counter he kinda dropped it back on the counter cause he grabbed with one hand... I was worried he was gonna break my product I was purchasing... this visit was very disappointing. I will avoid this one from now on and wouldn't recommend this store to anyone. Shelving was cluttered but I seen one employee doing her best to organize small section. The women's bathroom was also...

Went in on Sunday to do a return and honestly Dean at the front made that experience so bad. I gave the cashier my receipt for the return and as she was scanning my items she mentions one of them items was not on the receipt so she calls Dean over. I explain the situation to him and mentioned that the cashier could’ve skipped the item or could’ve scanned an item wrong instead of the item that wasn’t on the receipt. He writes down my name and number and takes a picture of the receipt so he can hand to the person who takes care of footage to go back and see what happened. He gets offended that I don’t give him my full name and keeps insisting for it when I kept saying no to giving him my full name. He then gets mad that I did not want to provide him my ID for him to take a picture of. Like why do you need a picture of my ID? I explain to him the situation again and he immediately calls me a liar and that I was stealing merchandise. I mentioned to him he is more than welcomed to go look at footage if he thinks I’m stealing. When I walked in with a tj maxx bag and you can see where I hand the items from the bag with the receipt to the cashier. Overall it was the worst customer service I have received from tj maxx and it’s disappointing because I love going there. Dean has no professionalism whatsoever! My situation never...

Dishonest employees at Highland Village TJMaxx & Home Goods. I returned floral tulips bought with my Debit Card at TJMaxx in Denton to the TJMaxx & Home Goods in Highland Village. Even though I had my receipt, the cashier at Highland Village issued my refund as "Return Without Receipt". And even though the skew number on my receipt matched the skew number on the tags attached to the tulips, the cashier refused to scan the tag and instead scanned a card with a miscellaneous skew number. And even though I had originally paid for the tulips with my Debit Card, she issued my refund as a credit to a credit card, not a Debit Card. She made sure I could not put in my PIN for the refund. I argued with her and the Manager on duty but they would not correct what the cashier had done. I'm still waiting for my refund. It has not been returned to my checking account via my Debit Card. Heads up TJMaxx & Home Goods....you have liars and thieves working at your TJMaxx & Home Goods in Highland...

This is the 5th time since April that the line double wraps ANd goes all the way to the handbags. There’s 12 registers and usually just row cashiers. I had to walk out 3 of those times because I don’t have time to stand in line for 30 minutes +. How much business are they losing?!? I’ve seen so many people quit and walk out cause they have appointments and lives. It stinks especially when you simply have a return. So now you have to wait 30-45min simply to return not even purchase anything. So disappointed but I think I’m calling it quits after today. Hopefully there’s another location better employed or May have to say goodbye to our shopping here for a while.

Nobody ever really asks to help you and if you ask for help, they always seem to frazzled to be of assistance. This store REALLY needs to have a separate line/ attendant for returns and such. The manager was not nice in the way she told me "back of the line" when I asked her where the customer service line was located. It's the holidays, get a CS line going. This line is way longer than the photo really indicates. I suggest coming after 8pm.

I’ve never experienced such long lines in my life. To move up by 6 people, it’s taken 20 minutes and the line is now almost to the opposite doors. Only 3 registers open and no sense of urgency. Other HomeGoods have it figured out…minus this one. **update: took 42 minutes and whole time only 3 registers remained open**
