First time experience coming into cheeky monkey was very unwelcoming. We had a free hour play coupon and wanted to check the play area out. We were greeted by a young Caucasian teen/adult at the check in by the door. She ask us if it's our first time and we said "yes, we actually have a coupon that we like to use." After that, We never got a run down of the place and just told us our little girl can only go into the toddler area and to sign the waiver. Also she mentioned my 9 year old boy can't help her because he would be too rambunctious, which I understand. As I was signing the waiver we moved over to the right side so other people can check in with her, we were trying to be polite and didnt know that we had to wait with the Caucasian young teen/adult. This older Hispanic lady at the 2nd check in register came off rude and said "Next", didn't tell us excuse me or let us know that we shouldn't be standing there. And when we're about to walk in the Hispanic lady told us that we couldn't have outside drinks. We didn't mind putting it away, but when we walked inside there were multiple parents with Yeti's and Stanley cups. I walked with my 2 year old to the toddler area and into the ball pit. It was Filthy, I don't think they ever clean the balls or wipe down the area. There was those sweaty feet gunk on the balls that looks like it's been building up. And one of the suction tubes for the balls isn't working properly. A couple minutes go by and a bunch of older taller kids came running inside and jumped on the swinging merry go round almost knocking my toddler down. There was a height requirement right by the entrance of their toddler play.. It was disappointing that my 9 year old couldnt go in and watched his sister play. At this point it wasn't worth staying. We didn't even stay for more than 30mins. While we were walking out a customer by the entrance walked in with a Stanley cup and none of the employees said anything to her or even checked the cup. When we asked, we were told "we don't want you bringing anything from your house." I don't know how that applied but that was the answer we were given. Extremely disappointing, I was excited to have our daughter become a regular with the summer coming but, it's not worth coming back even if you...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThe facility is clean, which is why Iām giving it 3 stars. The staff seems undertrained and the policies are different depending on who you interact with.
We had our sonās bday party here in March. We were given a copy of our receipt for the party and I signed it and literally on our way home they called us saying we had to pay the remaining balance and to come back up immediately. I explained that we had, we had given our card when we booked the party and I signed the itemized receipt at the end of the party. I told them I could come back up the next day and we could figure it out. They proceed to call me 4 more times and finally the last person I spoke to said they donāt keep cards on file- and that no money had been collected. Exasperated at this point, I told them again that I could come up the next day. She finally agreed to lay me pay the balance over the phone but it was very sketchy.
We will not be hosting any further partyās at this location.
Additionally , since we were here March we all had waivers on file. We came today and apparently they didnāt have one on file for my husband so he had to file a new waiver, not a big deal but annoying. The staff at this facility need...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI have been to this location many times, and I have enjoyed it every time until my last visit. It was on Good Friday, and I have a 5 and a 3 year old. They are off of school and I took PTO to bring them this location which is the closest to my home and a 30 minute drive but was turned away because of an Easter event that was not advertised online, only on Facebook. They stated that the Easter event from 10 - 12 was only for 4 year olds and under which I understand because every young child deserves to have a fair Easter egg hunt, but when I asked if they could make an exception and just let my son play in the jungle gym, I was met with rudeness and unprofessionalism as if I asked for a million dollars. Itās one thing to turn me away, but itās another thing to be treated like less of a human for wanting my kids to play and get their wiggles out. Nothing breaks my heart more than to have my kids jumping for joy to play at their favorite play place, then have to see that joy stripped from them because of an event that was not advertised and because my son who is barely 5 canāt play with his sister. Very...
