Beachside Getaway - Vacation Rentals — Attraction in Hilton Head Island

My family and I recently had the pleasure of renting this vacation home for our family getaway, and I cannot express how much we enjoyed our stay. With three families in total, the home was perfectly suited for our needs, making it an ideal choice for a memorable week away. We truly wished we could have stayed longer!

From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by the numerous amenities the home offered. We would highly recommend this property to our friends and family, and we would certainly consider returning in the future.

Highlights of Our Stay:

Multiple Bathrooms: Each bedroom featured its own bathroom, along with an additional one in the living room, which greatly enhanced our convenience and comfort.

Fully Equipped Kitchen: The kitchen was stocked with an abundance of cooking utensils, making meal preparation a pleasure.

Recreational Gear: We appreciated the ample beach chairs and corn hole game, which added extra fun to our beach days.

Towels on Hand: There was a generous supply of both pool and beach towels, so we never had to worry about running out.

Parking: The property offered plenty of parking space, ensuring that all our vehicles were accommodated easily.

Beach Access: The easy access to the beach was a fantastic advantage, allowing us to enjoy the sun and surf at our leisure.

What made our experience even more remarkable was the exceptional communication from our host. They checked in on us at the beginning of our stay and followed up a couple of days before check-out to ensure we were enjoying our time and to ask if we needed anything. This thoughtful touch made us feel comfortable and supported throughout our stay.

Although we did not require any additional assistance, knowing we could reach out if any issues arose was very reassuring.

We booked our listing flip key. Beachside Getaway office was easy to find but the entrance is misleading because you have to walk to the middle to get to the corner. The lock box was easy to access and had what we needed in it. Also, if the initial payment wasn't in full with credit card (only covered deposit) the only option is to pay with checking account info on the portal. If a second card payment was elected it had to be made via a phone call with a high fee.

The rental location was good and exactly what we needed. At least we thought. Unfortunately, the rental we had been neglected and there was an inordinate amount of oversights. From structure security issues to pest issues and etc. They approved a complete cleaning of the rental but an internal miscommunication occurred and no one showed up. Which robbed the adults and one of our young son's of a vacation of fun.

Beachside Getaway did address the issues as promptly as possible and did a bill adjustment once we returned to suffice for the issues. They did not offer any other rental as they stated they were completely booked for 7/24 - 7/31 of 2021.

But we were disheartened to have to have to cope with all of that during our first Beachside Getaway. Expecially because this was our first family trip since covid. But at least the next guests got the unit in a better condition.

Overall, we wouldn't use Beachside Getaway again but take a shot maybe you will have a Better experience!

The beach and the pool saved the Trip...

Absolutely FANTASTIC!!! First..Beachside is great to work with. Ahead of vacation they were quick to answer any questions. Then when we got the they checked in with us day one and the next day to be sure all was well. Plenty of towels for bath and beach. Also provided it small care packages in each bathroom with shampoo, conditioner, body wash and lotion..nice touch. Great people to work with. Then.. The house is pretty much as pictured..very spacious. Each bedroom having it's own bath was great for 6 long-time girlfriends. Top floor with kitchen was where we spent our "down time"..morning and late night. Everything you need is there..coffee pot (keurig too), toaster, dishes (plastic glasses for pool)..etc. Top porch has 4 comfy chairs (would have liked 6). Elevator was great to have especially on arrival and departure (luggage groceries etc)..and used throughout the week. We had the pool heated (1st week in April)..would recommend. Though it is on the small side it was perfect (about 3 - 4 feet deep everywhere..steps to get in and out. 4 lounge chairs and 6 around the table worked well. Garage is huge (we had 2 cars) small refrigerator there..would have been nice to have a powder room on ground level..but there is one right at top of 1st set of stairs. Beach is a short walk. While there were no beach chairs onsite..the Beachside provided a perk for renting chairs, umbrellas etc..worked fine! Obviously this is a wonderful house..and Beachside a great company to work with.
