So I saw the good reviews and wanted to try this place. The service was wonderful and the staff were friendly and helpful. Unfortunately the food was pretty inexcusably bad. I ordered fish tacos on corn tortillas with onions and cilantro. Anyone who has ordered street tacos before knows this is a basic staple and should be fairly hard to mess up. What I got was gross. The tortillas were the best part, the fish was a piece frozen grilled fish that had been dropped in the deep fat fryer. It was bone dry and had a weird crust to it emblematic of being deep fried. If you must use frozen (on an island no less?) at least heat it up better to preserve some moisture. It was then served with the smallest amount of diced onions and chopped cilantro I’ve ever seen. We’re talking like 7-10 tiny chopped pieces. Finally, the salsas you can self serve had ZERO flavor and ZERO heat. Even the bowl of jalapeño slices couldn’t save these things because they were pickled. Pickles jalapeños in a Mexican restaurant is just bizarre. My spouse got nachos with grilled chicken and it was at least edible. Again, frozen chicken but this was at least put on the grill and heated properly. Overall we won’t return, not when there are so many good choices of places...

Everyone starts off with the best intention when thinking about traveling to places like HHI. Eat seafood, eat local. Works great but tires the palette by the end of the week. I can only do so much ... southern or southern fish. :)

It's nice to have a break. This was one of the better meals we really enjoyed and at a fraction of the cost. Nice to have this option. Went with an order of carnitas nachos and a chicken fajita burrito. Both were tasty and delicious. I grew up in the south for most of my life, had the pleasure of eating at many holes in the walls, and bought tamales from the back of an old granny's house. I still have NO IDEA what people mean when they say it's "authentic" so I'll stay away from that word. It's good though.

Staff was very friendly... and i do mean very. Their friendliness felt genuine as if they were truly happy we didn't choose southern or seafood for that meal. ;-) Didn't feel shunned for being a "timeshare locust."

You'll get a small order of chips and can help yourself to what you desire at...

Fiesta Fresh Catered for the Family Game Night segment of our family reunion this July in Hilton Head, SC! What a treat! The most outstanding customer service from Liz and the staff! I organized from clear across the country and felt as if I was home on the East Coast in the process. The Taco Bar was a hit! If you are having a gathering of any size, Fiesta Fresh is the spot that hits the spot. My family enjoyed the tacos and they were an absolute hit with the kids and the entire family. They ignited the energy of the room and the portions were plentiful. We hope to see you again soon! Fiesta Fresh, a Hilton Head treat and no one compared to the rates. The rice was moist, the taco meat selections were seasoned to perfection, toppings galore! Thank you, Liz and the entire team! This weekend was the same weekend as the nationwide tech update and outage, and our reunion still did not miss a beat! What a great start to a beautiful...

We go to Fiesta Fresh multiple times during each of our stays in Hilton Head, and we have never had a bad meal. The staff that works there is so incredibly friendly and remembers us even though we are only in town once or twice a year. They food comes out in minutes and is very fresh. I grew up in Southern Arizona and was raised in Sonoran-style Mexican food. This comes as close to that food as anything I’ve had in the East. Excellent dishes we’ve tried: chicken or cheese enchiladas, beef hard-shell tacos, pork tamales, chile rellano and the chips and fresh salsas are outstanding. My wife likes more mild Mexican, and she finds the chicken quesadilla with pico de gallo and black beans to be great. The sides of refried beans and Mexican rice are excellent. It’s the best food of any style we’ve found in Hilton Head! The restaurant is small, but is has plenty of seating inside and out. There are plenty of options for kids, too.

Great little quickie Mexican food spot! Large party of 6 dined recently at 5:45 on a Saturday and we were able to get an inside table, but it filled up fast! My wife had the grilled chicken salad - it was large and flavorful! I was not a fan of the cilantro dressing, but she liked it! I had the chimichanga and it was good, but had very little meat - too many beans/rice in the filling, the ratio was off. The steak was good and I would get a taco or nachos next time. I liked the cheese dip, but it does have a hint of nutmeg in it so it may not be for everyone. The staff were very friendly and accommodating! I think it has a salsaritias, Moes, or Chipotle vibe - not like a sit down and be served restaurant. All in all, a good meal for a fair beach price. To those about to dine, I salute you!

Not being mean, but the food was horrible! I have never had Mexican this bad! Like Mexican food is always a score no matter where you go, so I knew for sure on HHI, this place would be good. Lies!!! We paid $47 for 3 people. All of our food came out on styrofoam. Ok... but our fajitas? No hotplate and steak actually looked like pork when we in fact ordered steak. There was a rotten tomatoe cooked into the fajotas so it ruined it anyways. My sons ground beef tacos were disgusting. I order steak street tacos and that usually is chipped up steak. This was little chunks that were super cold! Everything about the food was absolutely less than 1 star! The atmosphere and service was great. Needs much improvement in the food area though!
