Place is nice and clean. Staff is friendly. I really donāt like that you donāt see an actual doctor. It is a virtual call when youāre in the room and it just doesnāt feel comfortable or personable. Jared was very nice & Understanding. The caucasian female employee was dressed a little sloppy compared to the rest of the employees. With her hair in a messy bun, leggings and uggs? At work? This place is expensive. I booked an appointment here because It stated on the website my insurance was accepted. Only for me to get there and realize i would have to pay out of pocket. Because of my VSP, but it says online they accept the vsp and then file a claim? I was told my astigmatism is gone. Which I just donāt believe. With me having to pay out of pocket for just the exam and to have my prescription, It cost me $124⦠Like wow!! Im not sure if itās so costly due to this being a military town? With their great insurance there are still us others needing affordability. Jared was a bit pushy when i made the decision not to purchase contacts because the price would have been almost $300⦠I just wanted my prescription to order contacts else where, That was when he took my first prescription and came back with a second one?? He tried to push me to spend money⦠Lowest he got for my exam and 2 boxes of the cheapest contacts was $217⦠Which I just politely declined. Jared told me numerous prices to expect with just paying for the exam. $89 and then $147 then $124⦠I donāt know how long he has been there but he didnāt seem too sure on prices. She was supposed to pick her prescription last week and everything went wrong. My wife told her that her prescription was not right. She couldnāt see anything. My wife, she doesnāt speak English very well and she was helped by her friend to try to make her understand the situation. The manager with a bad attitude told her that she needs to adapt to the new prescription. My wife is been using prescription lenses for years and that never happened to her. My wife insist the prescription was wrong and ask if she can had another revision so they can make her another pair. They said no and she had to pay again or wait until she get an appointment with a doctor in Savannah in a month. My wife doesnāt have a car and Iām currently deploy and I canāt help her right now. My wife ask if she can have the money back and they said no. My wife got upset. She start speaking Spanish in her frustration. The two employees (including the manager ) started dancing in front of my wife like making fun of her and kept talking in English. I know this is unites states and we speak English, but is not the right way to treat customers. Wherever you go no matter your nationality, you should be treated with respect and dignity.
