The workers are wonderful but the GM is just disgustingly rude. I applied here and had a interview at 2:45-3PM, I show up at 2:30 and let the workers know that I have a interview and they seat me and they the gm will be with me shortly. The GM doesn’t show up to interview me til 2:40 asked me what time was my interview and my name I gave her my name and told her my interview was at 2:30 she tells me you don’t have a interview for 2:30 because somebody else was scheduled for 2:30 and immediately had a attitude with me. I checked my email and the interview was for 2:45-3PM simple mistake so i tell her to try and check the 2:45 interviews she then tells me “You want me to check?” with a attitude like i was completely flabbergasted and confused how are you mad at me for coming to interview early and how are you gonna say someone else has a interview at the time i showed up when one they didn’t even show up!, so then after she says she will be right back and she leaves to her office sits there and comes back at exactly 2:45. Had a feeling she was gonna do that but then the first question she ask me is tell me about yourself, I start off by saying my name where i’m from and the school i go to she stops me half way and says i said “tell me about YOURSELF “ so at this point i’m completely lost with what’s her motive here i tell her what does she want to know my job history, education history, place of origin? she then repeats the same thing “Tell me about yourself” so anyway the interview is was basically 90% of that she ends it with “So why do you want to work at five guys” I say because i recently worked at a fast food chain and she stops me again! and says we’re not fast food and then repeats the question “Why do you want to work at Five guys” I gave her 3 more truthful and reasonable answers and you won’t believe what was her question after that? why do i wanna work at five guys it’s like she wanted me to say i live, breathe, and eat five guys i’ll put my life on the line for this establishment if one customer leaves here unsatisfied i’ve failed at life. So essentially she ends the interview with if we decide to go through with hiring you we will give you a call basically a no, so i went next door to chipotle because i have work history with them told the worker may i speak to the gm she went and got the gm and the gm wrote my name down and said she’ll check for my application and to be on the look out for a email and or phone call this was all...
Read moreSo I know five guys is known for their fries and the bottom of the bag fries, but having a big pile of potato at the bottom of the bag is not appetizing. While I was sitting there, eating my burger, which was OK I watch the female cashier get into it with a Uber eats driver, telling him that their general manager only allows them to pick up one order. The driver politely showed her the phone with the request service, saying to pick up the other orders, and please give them to him to which she declined and said the general manager has a rule, saying that they can only give out one order. that’s insane because of someone who runs a restaurant I have multiple drivers that pick up multiple orders you can’t just ban a person from picking up the orders they’re sent there to get so they ended up canceling probably over $150 worth of food loss I feel sorry for the customers and if that’s the customer service I know for sure I won’t ever be ordering delivery through the app because that woman working the cashier is more likely to get my order canceled after having to wait already an hour for it just to have it canceled because the general manager is clueless . Super bad business. If you can’t adhere to the third-party rules, don’t use third-party for your store for delivery it’s foolish to punish the customers and eat, food, lost, and refunds over bad attitudes and poor management. The gentleman walked out and the orders never got picked up. I watched and waited. 10./10 probably some of the worst customer service...
Read moreI’m not from Hinesville, and I travel extensively for work. Five Guys is one of my favorite burger joints. But, I’ve had it with this location. LITERALLY walked out of this store tonight, along with my wife, after standing at the front, watching 2 employees look at us, not even acknowledge us, and continue talking.
One of the last times we tried coming here, the day before Thanksgiving, and over an hour before they closed, we were told they didn’t have onion because they didn’t want to cut any. Wth?
It just seems that whenever the main store manager isn’t there (who’s a really nice guy) , service suffers. The food has been good, now that they are giving the proper amount of fries for a Five Guys, and I still love the chain, but I’m done trying to catch this location when the employees want to work. I’m not looking for 5 star service, and I’ve worked in the food industry, as has my wife, but after several tries, and too many disappointments, we’ll spend our...
