Wayback Burgers — Restaurant in Hinesville

In the military and here visiting with my family. My kids and I walked into Wayback Burger when a young lady with a Burberry printed head scarf came from out back. Being that we’ve never been here before we looked over the menu and I took a screen shot as my Husband was in the car with our dog. She literally walked away from the front counter and walked to the back where another young lady and gentleman were. She then looked at the young lady upfront and said can you take their order as she proceeded to hold a conversation with the other young lady. This was simply rude. Your customer service is tacky and the next time I’ll do us both a favor and go next door to chick fil a where it’s “a pleasure” to take our order!! When leaving a nice young lady named Hannah who kindly assisted the young lady who took our order also told us to have a great day! Kudos to Hannah, but unfortunately we won’t be back. I can spend $65 somewhere with better...

Ok so I know they're new and still feeling things out. The staff was polite and the hostess was nice (she looked tired it was near close but she managed a smile) the menu was easy and not overly loaded with too many choices. we got a buffalo chicken and a cod combo. They were not cooked quite right. As someone who's worked and managed food service I could tell they've been keeping their fry oil too hot most of the day (probably to keep up with lunch) so it started to scorch, Hence you have to turn it down to finish the day. Our fries the breading on the chicken and the cod were cooked at too low a temp and got limp and were slightly underdone inside but had that oh so smoky dark coating for sitting in the oil too long. Just a suggestion watch your temp better or change your oil more often. I'll be back just gonna give them some time to iron out the kinks. Not worth...

Went here for the first time during a very busy lunch hour. I had coupons so I dedided to try it. I like to try unique burgers so I had the Carolina, which is a double-patty burger with yellow cheese, chili, coleslaw, and mustard. It was pretty good except when I got in my car to eat it the bun was already soggy and it was super sloppy. They may have been in a hurry to make the or it may have already been made, but regardless of the sogginess the burger itself had good flavors and I like the way they meshed together. I also had some mac and cheese bites that were made fresh and they were delicious. The service was friendly and quick. I will change my review to four stars the next time I go if my bun doesn't fall apart before I take one bite of it. Will definitely...
