I would like to take the time to personally thank Becky. I had purchased an engagement ring from another reputable jewelry company that gave me a very poor quality ring after multiple attempts and repairs. My fiancé was without a ring for the first 3 1/2 months of our engagement. This left us disappointed. We went into DeScenza’s and were instantly greeted by Becky. We worked with her as she patiently showed us options on how we could re-do the engagement ring with some extra special touches to it. The entire time Becky was reassuring us that the new ring is going to be incredible and that she would take care of us. There’s doing your job but then there’s being passionate about something you love and that is how we felt with Becky, she feels passion in her work! We left that day feeling excited for what was to come and in some short time later we got the call that the ring was ready to be picked up.

My fiancé and I could hardly wait to get to the store because we were so excited. We walked in and Becky was right there ready to show us everything but the way she presented us with the rings was perfect. She showed us the original (problem ring), then the wedding band for myself, and then she had my fiancé close her eyes as I put the new ring on her finger. When I say the whole store stopped and looked in awe, it was a show stopper. The new ring was everything we wanted and more.

I truly can’t thank Becky and DeScenza’s enough for taking such excellent care of us. We left grinning from ear to ear with joy!

Went to Descenza in Hingham today to have my engagement ring resized and cleaned. Was very rudely greeted by an older woman at the main desk who seemed bothered by having to help me. She sized my ring, recommended 3/4 larger and then handed me the resize rings to basically figure out my own size without helping me or confirming what size my finger actually is. I then asked about resizing my wedding bands which are eternity and she simply stated “that can’t be done”. I asked if diamonds could be added and she told me the entire ring would need to be redone. I said ok, could I get a quote. Very annoyed she walked away and came back simply stating over $1K. At that point it wasn’t about the money because this woman was making me feel so unwanted I asked for my rings back and left. Two of the three rings were purchased at Descenza and I will never be going back there...
