The Launch at Hingham Shipyard — Attraction in Hingham

As a Hingham resident for 20 years I really did not like this place when it was built. Parking lot in the middle of the stores, that biting north-east wind in January and February. But over the past few years it has grown on me because they have done a great job with entertainment in the spring / summer. Watch a movie in the lawn on Thursday nights and kick off your weekend with live music on Friday nights all summer long. Good restaurants, excellent supermarket, a movie theatre when the weather is bad or hop the boat for a scenic...

The family went down there for a bite to eat at Walburgers. The food there was awesome and nostalgic. The cheese for the burgers are listed as "Government Cheese".

Unfortunately it was late that night and things where closed, otherwise we would have walked around to check out the shops. I hope to go back someday to...
