I am giving this rating because I was treated very bad today by one of your employees. I paid for the things I was buying and the cashier placed most of the items inside of a basket I purchased. When I returned the shopping car(inside the store) and tried to pick up the basket I realized it was too heavy for me to carry. So I walked up to the cashier area and asked for a bag. I am very pregnant and with a toddler so carrying everything was going to be difficult. When I asked for the bag so I could distribute everything better, The guy at the register stared at me and asked if I pay for the things. I told him that I paid for everything and that I needed a bag because I needed to distribute the weight better. He saw that some of the other items I purchased were inside of a bag. He apparently thought that that wasn’t enough and continued asking to show him the receipt to prove that I paid for the items. I feel humiliated and feel that I was treated this way because of the color of my skin. This is completely unacceptable. I don’t appreciate being treated this way.    Read moreI was on the phone with a dear friend of mine while she was shopping this evening and am flabbergasted at the customer service. While I understand stores close and like to get people out by closing time, the way she attacked my friend after she checked out was not behavior of a manager but that of someone with no emotional maturity. My friend does online personal shopping from time to time for those that can’t leave their homes, and was accused of stealing because she uses stickers to remind her what goes to who and this manager accused her of stealing the last time she was shopping at this store.    Read moreI’ve been to Marshall’s locations all over the state, I’m a loyal card member and I had yet to have a poor customer service experience. I just started going to this location after moving, the employees made rude comments half an hour before the store was closing and were very pushy. One saleswoman asked me if I knew that they were closing in half an hour, I replied yes. She then proceeded to inform me that I better be out by 10pm because they will lock me in the store. I left and will not be revisiting this location. Any loyal Marshall’s customers knows what good customer service is and I’m very disappointed.
