Jonathan Stevens Mattress Co. — Attraction in Holland Charter Township

I had the most positive experience purchasing a mattress at JS Mattress Co. Consultant, Kiara, was most knowledgeable about all the products from the mattress to sheets, to mattress covers. She spent a good deal of time with me explaining the quality construction and materials used in different mattresses in the showroom and which mattress is good for side sleepers, back sleepers, stomach sleepers, hot/cold sleepers. She showed me samples of the materials (memory foam, latex, springs). She was most patient and informative. I felt like I was in good hands. I was impressed with the cleanliness of the store and their practice of using disposable cloths on the pillows as a barrier between me and the pillow. With each mattress I tried Kiara checked the alignment of my spine. Kiara's expertise and guidance helped me choose a mattress with confidence for my sleep habits and sore hip. Johnathon Stevens is taking care of the delivery and disposing of my old mattress. They even have a policy about exchanging your mattress for another if you try yours out and want to exchange for a different one. I like supporting local businesses. I can't speak to the mattress itself as of yet, it's getting delivered today, so I'll update my post after we get through that and have slept on our new 'Mackinaw' king a two three four weeks or so. On a customer svc / sales experience, I'm rating Keira (spelling?) a ten, she's incredible, sharp as a tack, and as kind and warm a person you're going to meet, she doesn't try to upsell you (well, in her own non-push way perhaps) but we never felt obligated or pressured into buying any of the accessory items like pillows, frames, covers, or anything else. She's great, JS is way way fortunate to have her as the face of the company in Holland. She absolutely loves her job and it shows. No reservations on referring anyone her way for those wanting a made in Michigan product (at a great price too). We shopped a Stearns & Foster traditional firm king at the store across the highway, of course it being the Lexus of mattresses, but it was up in the 4k range for what we wanted. We thought we'd try JS as it's made locally, and we're spending less than half for a product that approaches the S & F tier...

I don’t usually write reviews, but I had to share how impressed I was with the customer service I received while shopping for pillows.  It was an absolutely wonderful experience thanks to the incredible customer service I received from Kyra.  From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with warmth and genuine enthusiasm.  Kyra didn’t just try to sell me something—she took the time to ask about how I sleep, what kind of support I need, and even what kind of pillow I’ve used in the past.  She went above and beyond guiding me through a variety of options with expert knowledge and patience and even sharing tips on how to care for the pillow long-term. It felt like chatting with a friend who really wanted me to sleep better.
