Best Burritos In West Michigan
I've been a customer at Fat Burrito since they opened. It has to be at least 10? Maybe 12 years now? I've been here dozens of times and it has never been bad. Seriously... never bad. In fact I would go as far to say it has been exceptional each time.
Fast spot to get lunch. Even with a line to the door they will crank orders out lightning fast so don't be afraid.
The "fat combo" of two tacos with beans, rice, and a drink is a great value at around 7-8 dollars and will fill you up. Make those tacos steak with cilantro and onion and you'll be glad ya did. My other favorite is the dry steak burrito. The "mini" burritos are a monstrous size and good luck getting work done after you fire it down. Food coma is an unavoidable symptom at this joint. Top what ever you get off with either the green or red (orange?) Hot sauce. They are both excellent.
My work has ordered lunch here many times and only once was there an issue. We ordered take out for 7 people at my work and we got someone else order. Fat burrito staff made it right. Great customer service! My only critique is that they sometimes do not seem to answer the phone.
I can't recommend Fat Burrito enough. It has been a long...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreGood concept, poor execution. The place is disjointed from the entry. It looks like an old Olive Garden thatās had a couple of updates. When you enter, thereās a board that points you to the bar or restaurant with a handwritten message that is a little odd. For the restaurant, you place your order at the food counter that is deep into the place, as if it were an afterthought. The drink station is separated and again disjointed from the flow. The ordering had limited options, yet the seemed to repeat options in multiple areas. The menu should be simplified further with some reference shots, but thatās just for the experience. The food was okay. It was a lot of food that I didnāt finish, but wasnāt worth taking with me. It doesnāt come with chips and salsa, but you can order it separately. It seemed that they dumped a bag of chips on a plate and handed it to me. I asked for the salsa and they looked at me like I had a third head. They pointed to some burrito sauces that were near the drinks. For lunch, the bill was $20. The Fat Burrito was just an inflated price for a large burrito that canāt even beat Chipotle in flavor, service, or decor. Iāll pass and recommend that...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI highly recommend this place, what is there not to love about it?! I've gone here seriously over 100 times so I'm probably the most qualified person to tell you about it (just kidding - but I really have been here over 100 times in the last 7 years). They cook the food right in front of you, you can see there is nothing fishy going on. They are VERY quick! They are friendly too, all of their staff speaks both English and Spanish (FLUENT in both) so you regardless of your language you don't have to worry about being able to order your food or not.
My PERSONAL favorites are the wet burritos, enchiladas (I recommend the steak one's), and the quesadillas. Although, there are many other good choices on the menu. I have gone here MANY times and can not recall any time where they messed up on my order. They simply get it right every time.
You cannot beat the price and quality of food at this place, get huge portions that will fill you up for only spending $7 to $9 (not including the drink). I don't usually wright reviews but I had to since I go to this place so often and they've always done well by me and my family and friends. VIVA...
