Around Feb of 2017 my husband and I decided to go check this place out. We'd just move here to Holland from out of state. We ordered those crab ragoon things as an appetizer all with a lunch special for each. My husband stepped out while I dug in to one crab ragoon, and the main entree wasnt delivered just yet. I had already consumed the soup they give you and i was working on the wanton strips, when in the plate of wonton strips they give you with the sweet and sour, it had a roach [dead] flipped on its back and pretty big. I immediately called to a waitress and she stood behind a small divider in the seating area. She kinda hesitated bc we weren't her guests, our waiter was in the kitchen. But I simply pointed at the roach and she immediately went and grabbed the waiter. He came and asked what was wrong, I simply pointed and he said "oh" . I told him I didn't want anything anymore and he said he understood and I walked out. My husband was making his way to the table when I nodded "no" and waited till I got somewhat away from the restaurant to tell him. I hesitated to tell him inside bc I didn't want to make a big scene. But I figured I'd post it here. Sorry but I can't even stand seeing that place without...

Food tasted great - however quart size takeout containers aren’t as full as other restaurants takeout quarts, was disappointed that it wasn’t much more than what was served for a lunch size serving for what they charge it should have been packed almost bursting thru the top as other restaurants do.

Was nice to find a restaurant that puts the veggies in their sweet & sour chicken (even tho there wasn’t much added) - that’s the traditional way to serve it however most restaurants have skipped it probably to cut costs.

Egg rolls are awesome & nice size, that was also nice to see as most restaurants have scaled back on them too, makes it an awesome deal for the price.

I recommend this restaurant, just wish they’d increase the serving sizes for both...

I’m officially writing my first Google review… And it’s out of sheer horror from the experience that I just had eating from this restaurant. It is the single worst dining experience of my adult life well and my childhood as well. I grew up on tuna casserole, which I would stand in line in the rain naked waiting for before I eat here ever again. I am truly impressed with their consistency. We ordered eight different items all of which were equally horrible that was impressive after a couple sample bites of each everything went in the trash. We love our dogs too much to have fed it to them. In summary, if you like food, I highly recommend you try...

We visited China Inn on Mother’s Day during the Tulip Festival and were very disappointed with the food. Every dish was extremely sweet with watery sauces, including the Sichuan Pork Belly, which had no spice at all and came in long, noodle-like slices—very odd. It felt like the food was made for people who prefer sugary flavors rather than authentic Chinese cuisine. We’ve eaten at over 20 Chinese restaurants, and this was by far the most Americanized experience. That said, the service was friendly—our server wished my wife a happy Mother’s Day multiple times, and we still tipped 20%. Unfortunately, we won’t be returning.

Love this place! Huge variety on the menu, food is delicious, it’s fairly inexpensive, and has great service! We always come here when visiting from out of state. I love the hot tea that comes with the meal, it’s good. The food is fresh and I love biting into the crispy egg rolls. This time I tried the hot spiced Szechuan shrimp combo plate. It was really good and I like that the fried rice has chicken in it. The service is always friendly and quick. The place itself is decent sized and clean.

Great staff but the food was poor. Sticky rice, pork smelled funny, strange hard rock like thing found by chewing on it. Kitchen sounded like people were having a fight with metal serving platters. Utensils wrapped in napkin but without knives? Why? Hope they can do better because the staff seemed genuinely nice.
