Hobby Lobby — Local services in Holland Charter Township

I experienced the worst customer service. I went in to buy an easel set, the sign said a lower price then what was marked on the product. At checkout the cashier processed very rudely to argue with me that the sign was not there. I showed her the sign proving that I was not lying, she offensively told me she would give me that price. She didn't apologize for the innocence for me to walk to the back of the store to the show her the price. When she gave the total I was only $2 dollars short I asked her if I could run to the car to get it and come back. She told me that it was fine. When I returned she told me to go to the back of the line. There were 6 people that had already formed a line. I understand it's a busy season BUT the time it took me to prove to her the price on the merchandise she could have at LEAST kept her word when she told me it was fine for me to get the rest of the money. I told their manager of the experience I had, he blew me off. I feel very disappointed in this company. They claim to be a faith based company but what I expianced today makes me sick. The lady on the first register does have an issue with certain people. She knows who she is. I've watched her wait on other people with no issues. Then it's my turn and attitude comes out. Returned an item I bought the day before and right out accused me of trying to return something I bought at another store. Not my imagination every time I end up in her lane it's the same thing. I don't avoid her I go to her lane just to see if she'll do it again. I recently was in there and she was actually nice and polite. Then I got home and opened my bag and my receipt was wadded up in a ball. Really seriously lady if you hate certain people keep it too yourself...

Two stars are for the staff. Every time I come in here, there’s always an older lady with a bob and glasses that always rings on checkout #1/the return lane. When I have no choice but to go to her line, she ALWAYS makes a comment about the price tag being wrong on the items I’m buying. Insinuating that I may have switched the tags. The first time I heard her say this, I wrote it off. The last TWO times she went out of her way to say it, I knew something had to be up. Don’t know what her problem is. I try to avoid her line when I come here. She didn’t cause a scene but her passive aggressive behavior is totally rude. Watch what you say. Practice...
