My daughter nephew and I was in a target in homestead pa. 820 I went to the bathroom and they was looking at boys underwear. When I got out of the bathroom. I texted my daughter to see where they were. Theyāre at the boys underwear. I walked over to meet and there was this security guard talking to my kids. When I got there. He said they couldnāt be alone or whatever. Few things. One how are we suppose to know there was a curfew or rules if not posted upon the entrance. My daughter is very self confident about wearing boys clothing and made her very self conscious and sad and triggered her anxiety and depression. It took me a few hours to talk her down from now wanting to be her self. Her anxiety is strong and I donāt know what all he said to her cause I arrived as in they were mid conversation. I really donāt appreciate that someone who is trying to be themselves felt shamed by the security guard. Sheās still upset about it. Sheās been crying non stop. Iām trying to find a mental health Dr to try to help her. This is so disappointing esp from a target store. If a target store needs city cops inside and extra security guards. How does it make for a enjoyable shopping experience. Iām going to be contacting my attorney and see if I should contact the media outlets about how employees of target treat kids. My name is...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI actually went to the store to purchase a get well card for a friend. I had intended on going to Costco, but because my time was running short as I had an appointment to be at, I decided to purchase toilet paper also. There was a sign between two different sizes of Charmin that advertised by two get a $5 gift card. Because I could not tell which package the sign related to, I pressed the Kiosk button for help. The 60 second timer went down and no one came. I pushed it again, no one came. I pushed it a third time and no one came. So I took two packages, guessing at which one the advertisement applied to, up to the cashier. When the cashier rang it up, I advised her I was to get a $5 gift card. She told me I was wrong and pulled out the advertisement for the week. I told her there was a sign below the toilet paper regarding a $5 gift card. I had her cancel the sale and walked back to get the card off the shelf. She then sent someone back with me. When I walked back up with the ad, she said she would give me the $5 card, but that sale ended on the 14th. However, no one pulled the ad off...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreTarget used to be my happy place, but it has gone way downhill since it has remodeled. The store feels vaguely disorganized, and many aisles are always blocked by workers stocking. Annoying music is played in the clothing and housewares Departments, and there are always groups of managers walking slowly and getting in customers way. That is tied for the most annoying part of this remodeled target. The other most annoying part is at the self checkout are very slow and not very effective, but there are was multiple employee hanging around by them, but only one normal check out open. Even if the normal check out has three people in line, use it, because you will get out of there before you would if you use the self checkout from where the one item.
That was an old review; the problems remain, but are exacerbated in that they force 10 people to wait in line with no way to social distance instead of opening up more than 2 checkout lines; the self check-out are working better but still very long lines with no...
