I had the chance to visit the IASS Hawaii lounge during my recent travels, and while it was a pleasant experience, it wasn't necessarily extraordinary.
One thing I did appreciate was the comfortable seating. The chairs were cozy and provided a bit of privacy, which made for a relaxing atmosphere. The air conditioning was also good, and it offered a refreshing break from the heat and humidity outside.
While there wasn't any food available, the lounge did provide soda and coffee, which was a nice touch. It was good to have the option to grab a drink while waiting for my next flight, but I didn't find it particularly noteworthy.
The view of the garden outside was certainly a plus, and it was the main reason I chose this lounge over the Delta Sky Lounge. The windows were large and allowed plenty of natural light to enter, which was a nice change from the dimly lit airport.
Overall, the IASS Hawaii lounge was a perfectly adequate option for travelers. The seating was comfortable, the air conditioning was good, and the view of the garden was a nice touch. However, I wouldn't necessarily say it was amazing or a must-visit lounge, but it certainly served its purpose as a place to relax before my...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreAmazingly, this attractive lounge is just terrible. There are only drinks, and no food or snacks are offered. Also there is a sign warning you not to bring food in from the outside! No eating is allowed. The other thing that bothers me is the way that the owners or employees, whichever they are, watch you like a hawk. They are watching to see if you're eating something out of your backpack or possibly putting one of their drinks in your backpack. Honestly I have never seen a situation at a lounge where the staff walk around constantly patrolling the customers to make sure that no one is breaking the rules. As I said in the beginning, the lounge is attractive. It has nice flooring, good chairs, and attractive decorations, but the lack of food, the lack of snacks, and the threat of not being allowed to eat any food from the outside all combines for a really lousy experience. You get to sit there, you get a drink and that's it. Meanwhile, the lounge is charging priority pass 20 to $30 for your entry. What a lousy experience! What a ripoff! Hawaii is supposed to be welcoming, not in...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreIām not sure how they can call this a ālounge.ā I went in and was greeted nicely enough and immediately told that they do not offer food or alcoholic beverages. What they do offer is a small (a very small) selection of juices and Keurig coffee, thatās it. The lounge is a small room with some tables and chairs, and at the time I was there, there were no tables or chairs available. I availed myself to a coffee and waited off to the side to wait for a seat. While I waited, more and more people kept coming in who also couldnāt get seats. After waiting about 15 minutes, I decided to leave as it didnāt look like there would be any seats opening up anytime soon. I can at least find a spot to sit in the airport as opposed to standing in the corner of this āloungeā with nothing to show for it. I used my Priority Pass to enter the lounge. If I had paid to enter, I would be pretty upset. In this case, Iām just quite...
