Gluten-free options are slim in this airport and with it being the holiday, seemed a lot of places were closed. Arrived here 10 mins before bfore closing and despite the chaotic atmosphere, I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food. I ordered the half roast chicken (mixed dark and white meat) with a side salad. I skipped the vegetables, as the mashed potatoes appeared to be mixed into the green beans. While I had low expectations, this turned out to be the best gluten-free airport meal I’ve ever had, the chicken was exceptionally juicy. As a side note, I accidentally paid for someone else’s order and ended up with a complimentary salad.

For Celiacs, I would recommend visually assessing the buffet line and meat cutting area before ordering for potential cross-contact of gluten...

We have to fight back against these corporations. Food was ok, while being insanely overpriced, but at this point I know what to expect at a US airport. However, to have only one employee doing the entire front counter is a disgrace. Greed is the only thing these corporations understand. For what this place charges for rotisserie chicken, $26 after tax for 1/2 rotisserie chicken and some nasty sides, they can have two employees. Check out some of the pictures, the lines are long because this company is greedy and won’t pay for a second employee. We have to be better as a society. Travel in the US is awful because every damn corporation is ripping us off and giving us the worst service in the world. The employees of Lahaina Chicken Company deserve better, especially for the mediocre...

The food here was cafeteria quality at the airport price. Watery "insta-mash" type potatoes, shriveled frozen veggies mix, and chicken bone dry from being under a heat lamp for hours. What really stuck me though was service speed. I lined up behind 4 people and it took more than 30 minutes to get to me. The overworked cook/server/cashier seemed to be alone and would disappear into the back for a time after each cash out. Leaving the next customer waiting alone at the counter. She seemed to be having a bad day and unfortunately took it out on the patrons tossing utensils and orders around without a care, rolling eyes and giving attitude to customers, failing to listen to orders and then getting upset when she inevitably got them wrong. You would be better off eating out of a...

The line was long for a reason. That reason is solely the meats. You get a 6 oz piece of prime rib with 3 sides. The sides are all the same quality frozen food variety you got back in elementary school. The veggies grewn beans carrots peas...were cold unseasoned and taste like they were just defrosted. The rice is actually sticky and made well... Suggestung rice with roasted chicken The prime rib tasted really good though but I kept wishing I got the chicken. Today's specials 14.99 pork roast 17.99 prime rib The service matches that of the old cafeteria ladies. (See reciept in photos)

I was super hungry when I had a layover in Hawaii. I walked around the whole airport looking for something delicious to eat. I was really happy. I found this place. I haven’t been to Hawaii yet. This will be the closest food to get to comfort food in this airport. I actually didn’t get the chicken, I got the roasted pork. I do not regret it. I didn’t get to finish it on my long flight to Guam but boy I microwave it in my hotel room and it was still really soft and delicious when I go to Hawaii, I’m going to definitely eat this food Again.
