We had a group of 8 that went out to do water sports, we reserved our time in advance. Only part of our group did each event. I was able to bring my 8 year old daughter on the jet ski with me and it was amazing! The staff on the boat was phenomenal! The guys were so helpful and explained things so well! They made the time on the water an unforgettable experience! They made sure that safety was their number 1 priority and that your fun was number 2. I appreciate all they did for me. The only reason I’m taking one star away is because I was trying to be respectful by smoking outside of the building prior to my boat out as there is no smoking on the back patio or on the boat. A woman (I believe the owner) came out and yelled at me, she was incredibly rude. Had there been a no smoking sign I would have never smoked there. But there wasn’t. When I explained I was with a group and didn’t want to miss the boat out she responded “well then I guess you better put that out” in the snarkiest rudest way possible. She could use some customer service training. She could have politely asked me to move and I would have been more than happy to. When I went back in I was waiting for her to come out and tell me I couldn’t participate but she didn’t thankfully. Next time just be a little nicer. Other than that the experience was awesome! If I could just give the guys on the boat a review it would have been 5 stars across the board. Also I didn’t take many pictures as we bought the go pro footage that came out amazing! Please remember that your footage is not guaranteed! A member of our group wasn’t able to have the footage from his go pro due to an issue with the go pro, they offered us a discount to make up for it! The general manager I interacted with on August 25th and 26th was disrespectful and condescending. When I called to cancel my rentals due to a tropical storm warning, she refused to provide a refund and spoke to me in a demeaning manner. I called the 25th to cancele and she said to call in the am of the 26th. So we did and she tries to use that it’s a same day cancellation. No, I called you yesterday. You rushed me off the phone and cut me off as I was speaking to tell me to call in the am. Despite expressing my concerns about the weather and my lack of confidence in using the jet skis, she insisted on enforcing the no-refund policy for same-day cancellations. She claimed to be the top authority and dismissed my requests to speak to someone above her. After a frustrating conversation, she hung up on me.
I reached out to the company via email but received no response. The lack of accountability and professionalism I encountered was disappointing. I made it clear that if my concerns were not addressed, I would share my negative experience on various platforms such as Yelp, TripAdvisor, and Expedia. I wanted a refund not because I no longer wanted to use the jet skis, but because the storm warning made me uncomfortable. The way I was treated during this ordeal was unacceptable.
I urge you to review the phone call and reconsider how your staff handles customer complaints. The dismissive attitude and lack of empathy I experienced do not reflect well on your company. I hope this issue can be resolved promptly to avoid further negative feedback online and through social media. Read moreWe recently discovered H20 Watersports during our latest trip to Oahu, and I can confidently say that choosing them was one of the best decisions we made for our vacation. Our family of four enjoyed both the parasailing and jet ski experiences, and from start to finish, everything was fantastic.
From the moment we were picked up by the "Uber" drivers to the interactions with the staff on-site, we were impressed by the seamless and professional service. Although tipping can be a bit confusing given the number of staff and boats involved, once we understood the process, it was clear that every team member was dedicated and exceptional (apologies to the beginning staff members who we didn't tip)!
A special shout-out to the team who made our parasailing adventure unforgettable. As someone who was initially very apprehensive about parasailing, I was prepared to sit this one out. However, the captain of the boat and the guy who helped with the gear went above and beyond to ensure I felt comfortable and at ease. Their calm and reassuring demeanor gave me the confidence to take the plunge, and I'm so glad I did—it turned out to be an exhilarating experience that I’ll cherish! I feel awful as I am horrible with names - but they were just amazing!
