Elaine Dobashi Dog Park — Attraction in Honolulu

We take our dogs there quite often. I love that they have an area for dogs that are 18lbs or less. One of our dogs is terrified of larger dogs because hes been attacked on 3 other occasions (not at the dog park). Its nice to know that theres a safe place for him to go to. My dog had fun at first, but I think people need to start utilizing the small dog area when appropriate. Had a guy kick my 8 month old puppy for chasing his small probably terrier mix. Yes She's 50 pounds, but that's the whole purpose of the two areas. If you're not comfortable with how larger dogs play don't use the large dog area.
