4 stars simply because you have a Costco, a City Mill, and a handful of places to get a quick but diverse bite to eat! 🤙✌ 12/2022 I had to point this out, but wouldn't you know, I was a few steps too late. The Tuxedo Mousse Cake absotively rocks - period! By the time I thought about mentioning it in a review, it was almost gone. For the price, value, taste, and how much it can feed (my estimate is up to 12 pax), it is an awesome idea to bring to a party or serve for dessert. Do it, do it now, and you don't even need an occasion. Btw, for this sole reason, I've bumped this store up to 5 stars. 😃🤙✌️

Beware: Do not lease an office unit here. If something breaks they will not fix or repair. The maintenance team doesn't know where things are (like electricity box) or how to fix it. The installations are from the last century, and you are responsible for fixing things when they break. They can't even provide a floor plan for where the AC is located, for example. That will get costly. See photo for an example of the ancient installations that are due to break.

The people of Hawaii Kai are a vile and fickle bunch.. it's bad enough that the Town Center is overrun with Japanese tourists but then the Japanese locals are actually Ruder andmore pushy that the FOB tourists .. there's nothing at this shopping center worth visiting.. and you're extremely likely to get run over by one of the million silver Mercedes driven by Asian women who can't see over the dashboard..

Quite possibly home of the world's busiest Costco also the world's most understocked Costco..

Home to a Verizon store that's not actually a real Verizon store

Home to the worst Panda Express I've ever been to

I could go on but really I think people should just avoid Hawaii Kai as a rule.. Let the rich snobs that live out there think that it's so good..

they can stay there and stay away from the rest...

An outdoor strip mall anchored by CostCo with ample parking. Seema to be kept clean and has decently wide covered sidewalks. Also has a $tarBuckies so makes it easy to grab a cup on your way in to do your CostCo shopping. While a bit longer drive from Waikiki; for me I find it is a nicer drive, typically more relaxed (unless you get caught in return traffic that can bunch-up sometimes in the late afternoon) than going the opposite direction to the other CostCo north of Ward (no nice surrounding scenery and you are just inching along grinding from stop light to stop light going to that other...
