Stopped by this Ross and boy what a big surprise. You would think because of the location they would be somewhat decent, absolutely NOT. This place was a mess and the further you walked into the store the messier it was. I could not even look through the racks because they were jammed packed with clothes hanging and clothes off the hangers just shoved into the hanging clothes. There were also clothes on the floor in between the hanging clothes. The store was so dusty and the worker that was putting clothes back on the racks didn’t even care to flip the clothes right side out or even pick up or rehang the clothes that were shoved in everywhere. 8registers and only 1 was open. The only neat part was the aisle of goodies leading to the register. I mean I’ll probably be doing the workers a favor by not recommending this location to anyone. The workers themselves look like they didn’t even want to be there. It was 10am and I only saw 3workers. With the amount of mess there was, there should have been atleast 10...
Read moreInitially I was less than happy when this store opened in Kahala Mall. They took the place of the previous tenant Barnes & Noble. Now we all have to make the trek to the much more congested Ala Moana shopping center for the only Barnes and Noble left in the area if we want to pursue and shop physical copies of books and magazines. Having noted that, this wasn't the fault of Ross but a Barnes & Noble decision so I've softened a bit on my reaction to Ross. After venturing into Ross looking for a belt and day-use cross-body pack I was pleasantly surprised to find Ross had suitable solutions at a very attractive price; really much more serviceable and cost effective solutions than I'd find where I live in Waikiki. Thanks Ross! So, while I still miss what had been my local Barnes and Noble, Ross does serve a useful purpose and the decent volume of shoppers I have found there would seem to indicate...
Read moreThe employees at this place are horrible. But a special shout out to KAAI who holds the distinction of being the rudest service employee I have ever encountered. While handing a return, she makes no eye contact. Is curt and abrupt. Tosses the original receipt at me and when the return receipt is being produced tells me “grab it yourself”. And she has an annoying habit of calling the next customer before you’ve even left. I watched her do that repeatedly. Her behavior also says a lot about the management at this store, who are obviously incompetent. Allowing KAAI to be in front of customers is a BIG mistake, but they allow it. Go to a different Ross. Or go to TJ MAXX You’ll be...
