Aloha Salads — Local services in Honolulu

The only bad: REALLY EXPENSIVE! For affordability, I would give them 2, maybe 2.5 stars. It's crazy to pay $15 for a salad (with the goodies)... Which is why, unfortunately, I am not able to eat there as much as I would like to.

The best salad I have tried on the island, without a doubt. Before I tried them for the first time, I never knew I would like fruits /sweet mixed in my salad. But they are amazing, changed my perspective completely. Their dressings are killer too!! I like both the mango vinaigrette, and the Lilikoi vinaigrette, so good.

I like the aloha passion salad with grilled streak (like $2 extra, well worth it.). I hate bleu cheese/feta, so I sub white cheddar or anything else.

Be forewarned, they are stingy with the dressing and overcharge a lot for an extra dressing sauce cup. A full salad (they Come in half/full sizes) should have 2 of those little sauce cup containers for dressing, and the half should have one. For full sized salads they only put one, and it's insufficient. But if you ask for another one, and they want to really gouge you, they charge $1.50 extra for another small sauce cup of dressing!!- Kahala (Outrageous!) (They whole bottles of their dressing for $5.)

So, wish they were less greedy, would be nice if they didn't pinch every penny. It would also be nice if they had a customer loyalty card or something.

If you are on any kind of time restraint, and you are getting it to go, I recommend highly that you call in a phone order. Even if you eat there, it will save a lot of time!! ESPECIALLY. For the Kapolei and Bishop St. Locations, super busy, super long line...

Staff were clueless and lacked customer service skills. Likely from lack of proper training given high turnover. We stood there for awhile waiting for our orders. No one bothered to ask if we are waiting for our food and left them sitting behind counter while those kids carried on with their bs conversations. Anyways, food is meh. Got the turkey wrap and I had high suspicion that the turkey meat is spoiled given the "odor" I detected as I was biting into it. Didn't want to take a chance so I discarded my lunch and went over to whole foods for a salad. This place is definitely on my list of "eat at your own risk." You have higher probability of food poison from their deli meat vs eating...

Gone downhill lately. Loved them before. For $22 I got a salad that was kinda just ok and a small soup. I guess the soup doesn’t come with pita anymore? Ordering via tablet is a little confusing and the ask for tip is a little insulting without first having received service. When I tried to pay for the food on the credit card part, simply tapping didn’t work for me twice. I had to manually enter the credit card number and it failed to move on to the next screen.
