We were in town happen to go get some fish and aquarium items for mom and ours at Kalihi pet but seen this pet smart branch in Nimitz. So we shop here instead worth &200 plus . I like the store variety of fish products .. pet smart: fish smart I say.. but my dismay when my wife who is pregnant -trimester with me and a 4 year old boy needed to use bathroom she frequent use bathroom due to her pregnancy…. But the store staff -NOAH was saying it’s no public restroom due to the homeless messing up..?!!!?@“! To me do we look like homeless?? It’s just a call of nature and special consideration for a pregnant woman?? But I guess staff Noah is just blind to see the need of a customer?? Not SMRT people.. !!! Hey I understand company policy according to your situation but humanitarian reason and customer service bringing $200 purchase, pregnant woman can’t use to ‘pre’???!! Where is your SMART brain??? Read moreThe store itself is decent. They don't always have things in stock but they have a pretty big variety of items compared to places like petland. The prices are also way better and if you get the app then you can save a lot of money and get a decent amount of points. I got a fish tank and a bunch of filters for half off which saved me about $100. Most of the staff are friendly and some have helped me pick out things to get for my aquarium. However, there are a few downsides. One thing I don't understand is not being able to cancel a pickup order. Once you place an order it cannot be modified or canceled. This means if you buy something that you didnt need by accident you would have to return it. Speaking of returns one of the cashier has a VERY bad attitude. When we tried to return an extra fish tank we got he quickly became inpatient because we forgot which number we used when we ordered it. He started acting like we were dumb and looked visibly upset and started to sass us. We were kind and brushed it off as people have bad days but we went back in today to pickup some stuff we ordered online and the order wasn't ready. No big deal as they let you grab the items off the shelves and the cashier scans it for you. The same guy was there and he made a big deal and said we should "wait for the order to be ready" instead of coming in and grabbing it ourselves even though the manager of the store said it was completely fine to do. He started talking about how it's inconvenient for them and how annoying we were. He also started to sass us again when we said we've done it a few times before and said he "did not care." Read moreMy darling dog, Dottie, unexpectedly passed away on January 18, 2022. I had ordered two cases of canned dog food which I took to the Iwilei store to return on January 20, 2022. The website stated it could be returned to this store. When I went to return it, with the receipt, packing slip, and credit card, the manager stated she couldn't take it back and I would have to drive to the Mililani store to return it because it is a prescription dog food and they don't have it in their system. I asked if they could do a store merchandise transfer and she said no and kept insisting I had to take the food to the Mililani store. I told her I work full time and driving to the Mililani store is a challenge for me. Plus this is a very difficult time and the lack of compassion and helpfulness is appalling. I will NEVER shop at PetSmart again. PetCo gave me a full refund and told me to donate the items I purchased to the local animal shelter. To top it off, I emailed PetSmart on January 22, 2022 and the store leader, Jarrett Chang, just responded to my complaint over a month later. This place is a joke and I'll NEVER shop...
