Everything was perfect for me for many times I've gone and brought friends over because I was so impressed with food, atmosphere and friendly staff. Up until I brought my gf visiting from Vegas this past Saturday, and waiter was very impatient from the beginning. Been there many times and knew café closed at 9pm and we needed to be out of the building by 930pm as another waitress had informed us before when I was concerned once about a late reservation we had made. She told us as long as we were out by 930pm it wasn't a problem. Waiter this last time, served us our cappuccinos and cakes at 855pm and told us we had 5 minutes to finish it off. I was shocked. Why serve it to us when we obviously won't be able to finish in 5 min. We were so upset, I took a few sips and bites and went to ask for take out boxes and a paper cup so we could leave. Wanted to leave a 15% tip but thought of the other workers and decided to leave 18% instead of our usual 20%. I usually raved about place to friends and family, but not sure I want anyone to have to endure waiter we had this last night. It was the 1st time I've seen him and missed the service I had gotten so used to and expected each time I came to eat here. When I 1st found it, I was going 2x a week. Think ill be asking who wait help is before I reserve...

This is an interesting place. It is in a really strange location that you have to Google it to find and would never know it was there otherwise. However, they have lots of parking and it is easy to get to once you know where it is.

The dinning area is out in the hallway of a home decor design center or sort of a mall. It is very open, but the acoustics are horrible, so don't expect a quite dinning experience. Also, their seating is very close to other tables and it was a bit annoying having two tables on each side of us with loud talkers how laughed and giggled all throughout their meals.

I had the Fisherman's Pot Pie which was basically a seafood green Thai curry under a pastry puff. It was very tasty. However, the corn soup was rather lack luster. The really bomb, was dessert. I finished with their signature Chocolate Pyramid and it was excellent. All of their desserts look fantastic and with my sweet tooth, I want to go back and try them all.

Their service is very friendly and accommodating. The 3 staff working that day were all pleasant and...

This place is really cute! The vibe is really nice and everything is pyramid shaped it's really cute. I got the soft shell crab for the appetizer and it was really good. The crab was cooked perfectly and super crispy and the side salad complimented the crab really well. As for the entrees, I was a little disappointed. The portions were ok. My friends and I weren't too hungry so the portion was good for how full we were when we got there, but if we came to the restaurant really hungry, I would say that it would not have been enough food to feel full. We got the yellow curry which was alright. The flavor was good, but a tad bit too salty and there wasn't enough rice. My friend got the rosemary cream pasta and it was just lacking. I felt like it didn't taste like much, and it was bland and lacking any bold flavor. The desserts were really good tho. Super cute looking desserts. The tiramisu wasn't the best, but it wasn't bad. Overall the experience was really good, but the food is...

Hidden gem!!! This place is so precious and special. The food is inspired and the mini deserts are perfectly darling and look like jewelry in the show case. First of all they serve Brooklyn coffee which my boyfriend fell in love with - very unique flavor profile. We had the baked lobster bites app which was a laughably minuscule portion size but very tasty and cute. The guava cheese cake and signature chocolate pyramid were gorgeous and delicious. The pyramid stole the show. Dining setting is humble but clean and comfy and chill music sets a vibe despite the fact you’re sitting in the hallway of a mall. This place is absolutely worth a visit. The women working were warm, quick, and patient with all our questions. Come visit this spot before they get found by food critics and relocate to kakaako and triple their prices and have a 2 month wait list. And guys - this is a very romantic thing to do for your girl - bring her a mini dessert from here! ;-)

We have been sporadically coming here for over 10 years. What draws us to this gem? Menu is diverse & everything is delicious, our favorite & value for your money, especially during this crazy time, is the prix fixe menu!! My choice: mixed salad, soft shell crab, braised duck cooked to perfection! I've been to many restaurants in town searching for the perfect duck and have paid 3x the price, lol! The table service has always been excellent. In fact, because their dinner hours has been cut down due to the difficulty of getting help, JJ was kind enough to allow our request for early dining. That's above & beyond! It's a quaint quiet place, we always bring mainland visitors here and no need to shout over conversations to catch up. Lastly for us, I know no other nice restaurant that welcomes our fur baby who we consider part of our family! And P.S. it's byob! Unbeatable place for saving those hard earned dollars!
