Lot of good stuff. Grocery shopping in Hawaii is an artform because the food prices are so high. You have to get the deals and times has done decent ones. You have to spread out the grocerybshopping usually and Hawaii has quite a few to choose from. 7 eleven has awesome poke bowls Times has a great deli especially as well bakery deals and musubis drop in price if they dont sell by a certain time. Hawaii just has a ton of great food period they have so much seafood. Times has wine and alcohol and beers from all over including Tahiti Thailand Japan and Europe. This one is convenient ly located by a bank and a couple other businesses and across the street basically from Mcdonald's. A beautiful from of the mountains alsofrom the front of the store and all the green.then OT is a short walk up the hill to more stores and places to eat it is a nice area and again great views. I love the tuna and salmon raw they are the best i could eat any piece of those 2 fish raw and it tastes great. Though I would not do that if I was not around...

After shopping for a few items, I paid for them and a plate lunch. I proceeded to the counter where plate lunches are, showed my receipt which you need to order the food, and waited while she dished it up. After receiving the plate I started to pack it in one of my 2 bags, declining the drink that comes with the purchase, telling her because I had to take the bus home. I proceeded to the exit when I was rudely stopped and asked for my receipt, which I couldn’t immediately find due to being totally shocked. I really don’t know why I was targeted, I am an old fairly blind Tutu, and perhaps the only haole in the store. One rude employee implied I had stolen something and I showed my purchases and said you don’t get the food without a receipt….which I finally found when I got to the bus. Being accused of stealing and actually I paid for a drink I didn’t get…go figure. Been a customer for over 50 years…and never felt so unnecessarily embarrassed. Beware if...
