Locals call this "Chutes and Ladders" because of the gargantuan playground; the sign just alludes to a Rotary Park. This very nice park has a beach, huge picnic shelter, bandstand, other picnic tables, net-walled sand volleyball court, swings and slides,, restrooms, bike- and kayak-rentals, and concession stand with pizza, hot dogs, brats, and a very large flavor selection of Jilbert Ice Cream. A perennial favorite with the grandchildren. Nice views of the waterfront. Public RV Park immediately adjacent.

This is a pretty fantastic little park. Obviously the Chutes & Ladders playground was the highlight for our kids, there's also a little snack shack (inside) here, rentals for paddle sports, some built-in cornhole sets, a volleyball court, and plenty of picnic tables and a pavilion. It's also got a path that connects you to the rest of the waterfront. We walked 1 mile down to the library before turning around, but I'm pretty sure you're able to keep going way past that.

Great park with free parking. Hung out for awhile, finding shady picnic tables about. Lots of activities and kids enjoying themselves. We especially liked the ice cream and slowing us to try a taste before buying a cup! Delicious!!

My husband and I love walking down here with our dog . Probably one of the best places ever to watch the sunset. Lots of ample free parking and minimally crowded no matter what time you decide to go. There is also a wooded path where you may walk and enjoy the flowering...
