Over the last four years, I've been fortunate enough to be a regular client of Joe. As an assistant professor (male) at a medical school, maintaining a professional appearance is crucial to me. My journey with Joe began when I moved to Houston and found myself in need of a skilled hairstylist who could deliver a polished look. After testing the waters with a few hairstylists, I was lucky enough to discover Joe, who was an associate hairstylist at another salon back then. It's been a joy to watch him transition from an associate to owning a salon of his own.
One of the things I value most about Joe is his active listening skills. He takes the time to understand his clients' needs, which in my case often involves projecting a professional image. He pairs this attentiveness with insightful advice about hairstyles that would best suit my professional standing.
Joe also excels in delivering professional haircuts, a skill I've come to depend on. Beyond his professional acumen, he has an amicable personality that puts clients at ease, making each visit an enjoyable experience.
And finally, his recently opened salon is fantastic. The environment is modern, clean, and it just adds to the overall excellent service he provides.
In sum, it's been a pleasure being Joe's client over these years, appreciating his attentive service, insightful advice, friendly demeanor, and the top-notch environment...
Read moreExtremely disappointed and emotional over my recent haircut here. The individual who did my hair to me did a very bad job. I went without an appointment however they were kind enough to accommodate me. After that everything went downhill. Provided a reference photo for what I wanted. The hair dresser looked at every 5 minutes. To me, this shouldn’t happen if you were a licensed hairdresser. Red flag number one. We agreed to cut one inch and no more. However the individual kept cutting and cutting and adding layers after layers when I said not to do this. I wanted to wait and trust the process but that was a horrible mistake. I’m left with a horrible hair cut that won’t grow out to the length it was supposed to be cut at for 6 months or more! On top of that all the layers will take even longer. There is a gap of hair missing at the nape of my neck because the hair dresser kept layering and cutting when they didn’t have too. Kind people but a haircut like this makes me believe the person was unlicensed or extremely new. I would’ve rather came back and made an appt to have it professionally done and cut to my specifications. I’m distraught and hate my hair and now I have to wait 6 months. Providing reference photo for what it was supposed to look like versus what I got and how long it was...
Read moreI can't say enough good things about Annie and her incredible work! I've been going to her for my hair for a while now, even back when she was at her previous salon. When she moved to a new location—which is about 45 minutes away from my house—I didn’t think twice about following her. That’s how much I trust her and love what she does! Most recently, she worked her magic by dyeing my hair a rich, beautiful brown and adding the most perfect caramel highlights. The color came out absolutely stunning—natural yet dimensional, and it truly enhances my overall look. The way the caramel tones catch the light gives my hair so much life and warmth. I’ve gotten so many compliments, and I feel so confident and refreshed every time I leave her chair. Annie has an amazing eye for color and detail, and she always takes the time to understand exactly what I’m looking for. On top of that, she’s warm, professional, and makes every appointment such a relaxing and enjoyable experience. I can’t imagine trusting anyone else with my hair.
If you're looking for someone who genuinely cares about making you look and feel your best, Annie is it. Even if she moved hours away, I’d still make the drive—she’s...
