Great Big Game Show Houston — Attraction in Houston

I proposed to my (now) fiancé at the Great Big Game Show last month, so this place will always be special for us both.

My fiancé reserved a game room for her close friends as part of a going-away party, and I figured I could pull off a huge surprise proposal with the help of the team. I visited the place a week before our reservation date to ask if they’d be open to the idea of rearranging the games to where I could pull off a surprise, and Nick at the Game Show was super supportive and excited to make it happen. He was lowkey more excited than I was lol!

They came up with the entire game plan and added so many special touches. I couldn’t have planned it better myself. They switched out the winning team “confetti” for rose petals, and even had a lit up MARRY ME sign that they managed to set up while my fiancé was blindfolded for the final game.

Emily was an incredible game show host and coordinated the entire thing in real-time without a hint of giving up the surprise. It was unbelievable. The games themselves were also super engaging- I almost forgot the game plan myself because I wanted to win so bad! Not to mention they gave us free tickets to The Escape Game next door once we were done.

Back in April, I attended great big game show for my birthday. Prior to attending my booking experience was not good. The manager called me back immediately and helped to resolve the issue. I love the level of professionalism that they showed to really make me feel special as I was planning this birthday party. On the day of My booking not only did my friends, family, and I have an amazing time They greeted me with cookies from tiff treats as a birthday gift. I don’t typically get gifts for my birthday or feel special in anyway. The whole experience made me extremely grateful that they reached out to me, and I was able to move forward with my booking. I had so much fun experience so many laughs and they truly made me feel special on my birthday. I am excited to go again soon for my friend’s birthday party. My girlfriend and I made it a point to make sure we had absolutely no spoilers before going in, and I COULD (almost) NOT BE HAPPIER (I would be if I had won but w/e)

Andre and Jared were incredibly welcoming the minute I walked in the door.

On to the game itself;

Firstly, I can not sing John's praises enough. Incredibly patient and charismatic host, he absolutely made the entire game an even better experience. I honestly can't tell if I could decouple my experience with TGBGS with him. I'm sure the future hosts will be great, but TGBGS struck lightning with him!

Secondly, the presentation was a cut above. The studio genuinely feels like it was lifted from a TV show in the best way.

Lastly, and most importantly, it was FUN. The games were enjoyable with just enough luck to keep things light and exciting.
