A good place. Been here several times. An intimate, informal setting that is fun. The cast of 6 and the live band do a great job. Small bar is good. Everyone seems friendly. Seating in loose chairs at small tables permits finding a comfortable position next to your honey, but your neighbor might also infringe on your 'space'.

HOWEVER, parking is terrible. The designated parking area is poorly marked (didn't see any marking) and has the capacity for maybe 20% of the customers. Nearby areas, including streets, have "no parking" signs. Tried parking in 'after hours' public parking in a new office building parking garage across the street and couldn't find a pedestrian exit. The Music Box management seems indifferent to the parking issue. Just pay for a taxi, Uber or Lyft.

A nice...

If you are looking to be thoroughly entertained and uplifted, then RUN, don't walk, to The Music Box. It doesn't matter which show it is, or how many times you go to see it. It will be a great time, with you smiling all the way home. I am always amazed that without set design and with minimal props, Rebecca, Brad, Cay, Luke and Kristina can make you feel you are seeing a full production show worthy of praise. Individually they are incredibly gifted, each having their own style which they communicate verbally and with their remarkable facial expressions. Together, well, they are a powerful group that clearly loves what they do, and loves that they do it together. The musicians are always top notch too. What a...

One of Houston's "Hidden Treasures"! Outstanding performances by singers who also ad comedy into the mix. Great band, great singing, a good time for all! If there was one words to describe this place, it would be "Fabfrigentastic"! Make sure you get there early as reserved seating is usually all sold out and general admission goes fast. You can also go to their website to look at future performances and order your tickets in advance. For a taste of the excellent entertainment, check out the numerous "Youtube videos". A fun time for all. Also, you can purchase "snackies" or a soft drink or a beer or wine. Once you visit and see the performers, you will be coming back for all their...

Paid $55/ticket for reserved seating and ended up sitting in the very back of the theater by the doors. I could not see any of the performers on stage . Went out and made ushers aware of the problem and asked if I could see some other performance at a later date. Was told no exchanges of any kind so I went back into the theater and looked at the backs of people’s heads. After several songs into the performance of Across the Pond, the usher finally gave me a bar chair to sit in so I can see the performance. Definitely not worth paying $55 for reserved seating when Music Box Theater can assign you seating in the very back of the theater by the doors. Not happy with my experience.

My first theater experience post covid is the musical, Damaged Divas. I had not been to this theater before. So everything here is new. It is located in the heart of Town and Country area in West Houston. So for those who work and play only in the loop are missing out. The music and singers are great. Since great appears played out, I should say each singer has a quality to their voice that resonates. There are light snacks, wine, coffee, mimosas, sodas, and bottled water. Now if only they had margaritas. This is Houston. Chips and salsa with margaritas please 🙏 😋. I would definitely come again for their next musical.

Heard that this was THE place to checkout while in Houston and it truly didn't disappoint. It's a group of 5 people doing various acts with a live band. The show is rotated every several weeks. It's a quaint little space with no bad seats. With a loyal following they're always looking for more. They offer wine and other drinks along with snacks for purchase. We didn't know until near the very end that photos and videos are encouraged. If you're in the area, make sure to check it out!!
